I regret not forking over the $8 for this FA Cup Quarter Final between Liverpool and Man Utd. What a cup tie! Go on, United.

I still don’t understand the new Champions League format - how is it fair to have a league table when not every team plays each other.
Can someone please explain this to me as if I’m dumb. Thanks.

It’s basically the same as before. In the draw the champions from each league are in pot 1 while the rest is split up in pot 2-4 based on their uefa rating. Every team plays against two teams from each pot. Best 8 teams from the league are in the next round. The teams between place 9 and 24 have another „wildcard“ round with two legs. The winners will join the best 8 teams in the round of 16

What’s better: Four consecutive league titles, or one season invincibles? I don’t know.
Are we in danger of losing the best/most impressive PL record?

I don't think the Invincibles are in any way threatened by a club that's illegally bought four in a row. Seriously, everyone's forgotten City won the treble last season (apart from the 8 people that turned up to their trophy parade last season). Interesting how it is the same trophies that Man Utd won in '99 yet nobody talks about it. It's so far from anyone's mind and that's telling. Everyone knows what's going on.

Moot point, but Dortmund beat Bayern away this season, but lost to them at home... so no advantage there. Sadly they're playing Europe's luckiest team, but we're all hoping Dortmund can do it!

Sadly they're playing Europe's luckiest team, but we're all hoping Dortmund can do it! Yeah my question was a bit late haha. I reckon they would have a better chance against Bayern(while still being clear underdogs), but fucking hell i wouldn't want to lose to the same opponent twice, like Atletico with Real. Anyway, now they'll have to do the impossible. Hopefully the realization that no one believes in them means they can play relaxed and repeat what they did against PSG(but against a better team with more luck).

Bayern would have been an “easier” game but a much tougher loss so I’m glad it’s not them lol. It’s better for us to be the clear underdog, we have nothing to lose so there’s little to no pressure on us. And since our fans will make this a home game basically I’m sure we can create the right atmosphere to thrive in our role. Also, nobody thought we could beat Juventus in 1997, after they regularly beat us the years prior. And then we did it anyway.

If Dortmund wins the UCL, they will receive €20 million from UEFA
But, if Bellingham wins the UCL, Dortmund will get €25 million from Real Madrid

Porto's win came against another underdog and while Liverpool wasn't favoured against Milan the year after, they were still Liverpool. I totally expect a hard fought 2-1 loss for Dortmund, but I hope with all my heart that they can pull off a '97 repeat. Why not 3-1 again, and the final one scored by whoever is the Lars Ricken of today's BVB! I'm rooting for that new half-swedish wonderkid you've got, though it's unlikely he'll play a single second.

Looks like Dortmund winning would be an even bigger surprise than Chelsea beating Bayern! The odds were Bayern at 1.80 with Chelsea at 4.33, compared with Madrid @ 1.7 and Dortmund @ 5.0 (however, they'll change closer to the game)
