my list would be an amalgam of most of what's been mentioned. I'd probably put Axis: Bold as Love in the 60's, love that album - 'Little Wing', 'Castles Made of Sand', 'Bold as Love', 'If 6 was 9' like the Red Hot Chili Peppers mentions. Blood Sugar Sex Magik has great singles and great album tracks, and what could be the best song from that album era, 'Soul to Squeeze', isn't even on the actual album.also, love Up The Bracket by the Libertines...great album. Thanks. Like this for Axis and Up the Bracket. I used to really enjoy Blood Sugar Sex Majik and without a doubt its a good album (probably the chili's best. runner up to Mother's Milk) but a few years ago I just feel out of favor with the RHCP. Flea and Frusciante are great players. Chad Smith and Flea are a great rhythm section but god damn I just can't stand or listen to kiedis' rapping or singing. As a band (musically) they are fun albeit a bit repetitive. A lot of their stuff is just routine funk-rock jam stuff to my ears. I do think people over estimate just how good Flea and Frusciante are. Can't tell you how many times I've heard that Flea is the best bass player in the world. Couldn't help but slightly laugh to hear that their music was being used for torture. Although that is really fucked up. Now I feel bad... Give it Away is a fun song but damn I probably would go insane if I had to listen to that for an hour. Imagine the chorus where Kiedis sings the title in repeat but without reaching the oooooh oh yeah part for a day

I Only really like The Beatles from the 60's and have no interest in 70's music but... Bowie, Stones, The Jam, Led Zep, The Clash, Pink Floyd, Sex Pistols, Roxy Music, ELO, T. Rex et cetera... You don't have any interest at all in any of THAT?

Not really I know it's weird. They're great bands and I kinda enjoy their songs when they come on but I never feel compelled to play any of them, I don't have any of their songs in my library and I know nothing about any of them. Ps I know Joy Division is 70's music My library had Unknown Pleasures listed at 1981 for some reason so I suppose I love one album from that era

Oasis type music isn't really my main taste despite the fact they're my favorite band and the one that got me into music. I'm more into post punk/goth rock/synth pop/dark wave and a few pop rock bands like Oasis/Feeder etc as a side I dress normally though i just love that type of music!
