I was at a cheerleading competition this past weekend, and lo and behold I heard "Iz Rite" blaring through the PA!

If anything, a welcome break from "Party in the U.S.A." and that horrid Lorde song, I tell ya that much. (I have to say, the former is a stone-cold classic.)

Lorde is classic she's like a modern day iggy azalea. I just Googled "iggy azalea"-- Google informs me that she was born in the year 1990. If this Lorde is a modern day azalea, who was azalea's predecessor! Fuckin' hell, man, do I need to keep going back to the early 2000s-- do I really need to know this much about young people to form lasting relationships with them (sometime soon)? What are their shelf lives anyway-- these young girls??

Erm dude, I live with my mother now-- Mother dragged me out of my bed on both Saturday and Sunday morning to support my baby sister. I would love to say it was all of my own volition to support my baby sister, but I am not *cool* like you, okay?

I once heard "A Quick Peep" played during a TV time out at a NFL game. Very random. This was probably October 2002.

(Of course tent, in this particular case, is a euphemism for family-planned outdoor activities-- which may include menial outdoor "activities" like mowing the lawn or parish gatherings etc.)

Did, at any point, you take your hands out of your pockets whilst watching these girls cheerlead?

Sears was closing its downtown location this past week and for the past week and half, every time I walked in a Beady Eye song or HFB song played (What a Life, TDOYAM, and Iz Rite)
