I can't believe Cake beat Dave Matthews. I saw Cake (they have a dew decent 'novelty' songs) and they weren't that good. We really actually went to see the opening act 'Gomez' and stayed for Cake b/c we figured why not we paid for it.
Oasis may be up against the Stones next. Not sure how that bracket fills out. We need to get this site over to Inet although I hate all the kids on that site, they may vote like mad.

i saw cake and gomez when they came to my skool. cake was ok....obviously oasis is a million times better, but i wasnt much on gomez. i prolly woulda liked them more if the guy who announced them didnt say "and now, for the best live act in the world!" obviously anyone wouldnt live up to those expectations.

Looks like Oasis will win and play the winner of Journey vs. James Brown. It looks like James Brown.
If they get by James Brown, it looks like they will go against the winner of Led Zep vs. Depeche Mode.
I saw the amount of votes Zep had and Depeche had, so we better keep voting if Oasis gets by James Brown.

TBH i dont think i've ever heard of cake before, what type of music are they, are they any good? What big hits have they had? I think it might be the case that i know their songs without knowing them.

A lot of there songs have a novelty feel to them.
I have one album by them and it has some other decent tunes that weren't singles. I saw them live and I thought 'Gomez' that opened were better.
