Imo his voice sounded better in 2011 than it did in 2009..how do you rate it in 2013/14?
Sometimes he sounds good sometimes he sounds quite bad..but imo it has changed quite a bit in the past 2-3 years. In 2011 at least he still had that deepish voice esp in some of his live performances.
What do you think?

I think his voice from all I heard thru you guys in you tube and the record is much more hit and miss live than it was then , so I agree ...I think in the studio he sounds about the same , but he has wY more bad nights these days , and it's hurting his reputation IMO ...... To me he is a in baseball terms a pitcher who lost his fastball , and only can summon up that 98 mile a hour heat every now and again and doesent have enough off speed pitches to compensate . A great example of what I mean is Robert plant , he lost his fastball but still gives great vocals and manages to belt out classic zep. He might not be able to wail kashmir or rock & roll but he inteetts them in a way where it still sounds great ...like a great fastball.pitcher gets batters out with a slider or change up ..Liam never developed a off speed pitch man so if he ain't at best he's not so good So I rate his voice now as. Eh. Hit miss which sux if your attending a gig

seriously? there are a trizillions threads about Liam's voice. In fact, every thread ends up ina an argument about how he used to sound and what it is now.

There's not been much pro footage this time round. Difficult to judge on audience recordings. There have clearly been gigs where he couldn't be arsed this time round. 2011 he was pretty sound

sorry about that..feel free to close this but i couldnt find a thread like this on the first two pages..
I dont see why it should end in an argument though, im pretty sure most of us can agree on the way it changed. I just think its a huge shame his voice went from Cast no shadow in 96 to what it is now. At least he seems to be trying to take care of it more nowadays.
I think the main reason why I don't want Oasis back is cos I don't know if i'd be willing to hear him sing certain songs with his current voice. His 09 voice wasn't too far off what it is now but I don't think he should attempt singing some might say, stop crying your heart out etc. I still think theres room for improvement..he sounded pretty good on wonderwall afterall

His voice right now sounds like Glastonbury 2004 in my opinion.

I just watched this video:
And it just strikes me how good he sounds, he doesn't sound nasal at all. It seems to depend on so many factors how he sounds. The oui fm sessions he also sounds spot on.

Not again!!!
Oui FM - fanfuckintastic - he's still got it... But only for 5 minutes.
Rest of the tour - deteriorated, like it has been since 2000 pretty much. (Yes it sounds different every tour but). It is what it is fuck it, who cares! it's Liam Gallagher!
Just go mental at the gigs who gives a fuck!

His voice has hardly changed since iaround 2008, but that's not to say that some tours since 08 have been better than others. 2011 was a great peroid for Liam's vocals as he really gave it is all, even if he isn't what he was in the 90's. The acoustics are pretty easy for him as he won't have to struggle too much to get that range.

His voice has gotten considerably worse since the breakup(with wife). I imagine he's been drinking more heavily, smoking more heavily and in general has a pessimistic, negative mood which probably leads to weak willed performances.
