I dont get when people say Oasis sound different now.
Of course they do. But every album is different then the next for Oasis. Thats what I love. Never know what to expect. Never gets boring.
DM was a full blown rocker MG was a mellow filled with pop anthems BHN was loud, obnoxious, and self indulgent Giants was experimental HC was jazzy DBTT....hmmm cant label this one....more of a return to rock
EVERY album sounds different to the previous one. This is one of the main reasons i believe Oasis havnt faded away.

i agree!! i had to explain this to my friend a couple days ago. DM is just 90's rock 'n' roll at it's best. MG was a little more mellow and filled with anthem like songs. BHN is long, lots of solos, and a more "fun" record to listen to. SOTSOG is different then anything they've done. HC was them trying to be the beatles more then before and DBTT is hard to classify, but it is a good variety of songs. that's why i hate when critics and ppl say that oasis has to do something different. it's so annoying. the remarkable thing is that through all the different albums, they just have that oasis sound that you can tell from miles away. and that's why they're the best.
- cheers !

I agree, Oasis has changed their sound, especially with Don't Believe The Truth and SotSoG. Of course, we got our RnR with Definitely Maybe, our softer Beatle-like songs in (WTS)MG?, and a combination of some sorts with Be Here Now. SotSoG is really different, maybe even expiremental rock if you think about it. HC is somewhat a (WTS)MG? wannabe with a little Indian influence(The Hindu Times)and western/cowboy influence(A Quick Peep, Force of Nature). DBTT is hard to explain. Much more acoustic while still sounding big.
