I decided that my music collection is a bit stale and outdated and went to look on youtube for top songs of 2013. I must say, I am very displeased with the music that is currently popular. It's atrocious. I think I'll just stick with what I am used too.

One band did catch my ear from this video though, both in name and in style. Imagine Dragons. Not sure if I should bother checking them out any further though, I was a bit scared off by the grouping of them with the rest.

I sat through that entire video. A lot of the songs I never heard of but a lot of them you couldn't miss this year and I rarely listen to the radio. You have to remember those are mostly pop and rap songs that are made for the masses. There are a few songs on the list I like because they are catchy as hell but I still don't own any of them. There was some good music released last year but most of it wasn't played on top 20 radio.

Im hearing this everywhere. Like its some cool thing to say (nothing personally). I read million coments on million sites, yeah, there is still good music, just dont listen to that mainstream crap. But no one ever mention name of just one band or one song.
