Mustique tracklisting I emailed Owen Morris via his website asking about this and he very kindly replied with this track-listing. Mustique demos. D’you know what I mean My big mouth My sister lover Stand by me I hope I think I know The girl in the dirty shirt Don’t go Away Fade In-Out Stay young Angel child The fame All around the world It’s getting better man!! ...... > Be here Now > 7.Did the Mustique demo tape contain the song Slow? Any more info on this or > any other unreleased tracks from this demo tape would be great. I've got the full, in order track listing somewhere. I'll dig it out for you. > 8. Do you remember anything about the unreleased Oasis song The Red, White > and blue? Any details would be great. It's mentioned briefly in Paolo > Hewitt's book Getting High as being from around this period, but doesn't say > if it was ever recorded. > I didn't record it.......but I hope I think I know......NG was unsure about the "I hope I think I know" up until the last (his alternate line was going to be O A S I S ......)....possibly red white and blue was an earlier option.........But I really don't know so don't take what I'm saying with any authority. > 9. Did Liam ever record a take of the b-sides Going Nowhere and flashbax? No.......I don't remember Flashbax! Liam was going to do backing vocals on Going Nowhere, but for some stupid reason, the talk back between the control room and Liam in the studio was on permanently (it was my last Oasis session....)....it was in Blurs studio at Matrix.......and Liam overheard me and Noel making some singer jokes, as one did, at Liams expense......stupid really........and Liam clocked it and walked out. Wow great job with this. I was so excited to see you ask him about "Slow". I've been dying to learn more about this song since I bought that Q magazine in 1997. I'm surprised the lack of questions regarding it recently until just now. Hopefully odmorris can reveal more about this tune he once called amazing. Thanks again!

The word "legend" gets thrown around very easily in these parts. I think davidjay is one of the few in the Oasis community who truly deserves it. If you haven't checked his site yet, do it now. Thanks for all your hard work, David

Being Gallagher fans = cost HUGE money. And how is that? Oasis have had a massive back catalogue, right enough? Are you deluded? Get a grip!

Something that I was reminded of when this talk of BHN re-issue sprung up was that Noel mentioned in an interview that just before Oasis broke up he had been in talks to strip away many of the over dubs to create a Be Here Now naked of sorts.

That would be amazing , it's my favorite as is ,,,but for the critics who say pretentious and overblown. That would be Awrsome man

You sure because I'm explicitly remember him saying that he had no interest in going back and spending all that time on an album that was already released. Would love to be wrong but I don't recall him saying what you said.

Having the Mystique demos as one of the bonus discs would be a nice treat for the fans and to give me a real reason to buy the album again.

Thanks for all your hard work, David Well said and very very true, eva. There's people who truly deserve to be called a "legend" in the Oasis community. They're never in the spotlight, but the wheels for Oasis community and davidjay is one of them. Thanks once again for your hard work, david. Being Gallagher fans = cost HUGE money. And how is that? Oasis have had a massive back catalogue, right enough? Are you deluded? Get a grip! I hear you, Craig Fairlie. and no, I'm not deluded. I know what I spend my own earned money for. Thanks.

If they are doing Morning Glory for next year as well, could we finally hear a Liam version of Don't Look Back In Anger? I f they did, it would be wigwam trouser time for most on here. This sentence had me in fits of laughter. It's comments like that that keep me returning to the forum year after year. Brilliant.

blasting out Be Here Now this afternoon, can't wait for that remastered. dont want a BHN naked by the way.. sure it's heavy in parts, but why couldn't you accept it? do you always feel happy, light, full of joy? there must be some days you think Be Here Now is the best Oasis album? there isnt? you're clearly missing something.

I think I'm speaking for most of us on here - it just depends on the level of intoxication. Be Here Now is probably the least likely album I'd put on while doing something else as being in "party mode". Don't know how to better describe it. I must say, from my own experience, BHN just enhances that sort of "bigger than life" rush you get sometimes. During my studies, whenever I passed an exam and once i came home, it was the first album to be heard, LOUD. Hands down, it surely isn't the best Oasis album in songwriting-terms, but like with most music there's a lot of perspectives from where it can be properly enjoyed. Still, I would rather put on Sigur Rós or whatever, Jeff Buckley while proposing marriage to my girlfriend. Hope you get my point.

I love BHN sober as a bell no intoxication level nessesarry ...who needs to be drunk to love stand by me and don't go away ?? Or to pump yourself up at gym to DYKWIM or to rock out on the freeway of AATW Not me ...there best lp to me it has it all. Bombastic , pop , ballads , stadium rock .... Would love to hear it reworked for the non fan. Make it more radio friendly .....been saying that here since 03

There is defo is a divide on BHN even Liam and Noel see the album on polar opposites. I see it like many people BHN is the spirit of oasis / sums them up. Those days were crazy days and Oasis were the biggest band on the planet BHN was the result of oasis' hey day

Here is proof, during this period he use to list his top 3 songs ever written as: Live Forever, Wonderwall and.................Magic Pie.
Says it all really. * I personally like Magic Pie but no way does it even sniff an Oasis Top 20 list.
