Squire fucking ruined Champagne Supernova. He was too concerned with upstaging Oasis to consider the fact that it's psychedelic, not some fucking death metal that you should shred all over the top of.

Noel doesn't need to play the guitar like that, anyway. His songs are good enough that he doesn't need to be a flash bastard so that people will notice.

EDIT - That wasn't a swipe at Squire, by the way. He's a great guitarist, but there's a time and a place for that shite and that's at Darkness gigs.
