lol @ Tom exposing himself as an irrational BDI fanboy, but most of us already knew that anyway. BDI better than Oasis live lololol. The worst Oasis crowd alone shits on any BDI show in existence. Why are you talking about crowds? I think they make a better noise. I loved seeing Oasis live they were great band. That doesn't mean I can't say that as a group of musicians playing together I prefer the sound they make. You have merely exposed yourself as an over sensitive, irrational Oasis fanboy. Tom ...forget the bullshit in thread ,,,,I'm curious ,, I know your a fan of both ... I have seen beady eye on you tune whole concerts and not thrilled bit there good .tne organist looks like the guy I drank with at the beacon shows back in 02 (long hair beard blonde ) Now I seem every tour thought BHN era was best. From what I saw on you tube and what I heard from people. I can't see how they are better live ... I'm curious as to what your seeing different mate ?

I don't mind Beady Eye plying Oasis songs. I think it would be cooler for them to play the songs they wrote, but I don't mind stuff like Wonderwall, C&A, and RNR Star. They're classics that Liam had an obvious hand in and those are completely dominated by his vocals. He makes those songs.
However, I've never included Champagne Supernova on the list of songs I'd like to hear either brother do on their own. Mainly because, where as the experience in C&A and RNR are really Liam's voice and the power behind it, ie the band, I've always felt that a song like Champagne Supernova required Liam and Noel equally being great to make it great. I don't think I'm going to explain this well, but whereas I've always seen Wonderwall as a song up for grabs, where either brother could use it, there are certain songs more than others that seem to equally belong to both brothers live, Champagne Supernova is one of those. Both have top billing, Liam for his voice, Noel for his guitar. I've never felt that RNR Star or C&A represented equal billing. Both have always felt like Liam party's and everyone's invited. Champagne Supernova has always felt different. Both brothers on top of their game.

It' s just a soundcheck, it does not mean anything. At least to me soudcheck is tuning guitars, try to set up everything correctly... would not care even if they played Everybody s on the run during soundcheck.

There' s no way BDI are better live than Oasis, but ohhh..how I fuckin hate word fanboy. I reckon If u love a band od a football club it is pretty normal that u don' t see the darker side and support them whatever the situation is.

One of my fears of Beady Eye ever playing Oasis songs (especially Noel's) is once played for the first time it would lead to a beach head where they could launch even more Oasis songs. That is turning out to be true sadly. First Rock n Roll Star and Morning Glory. Next Cigarettes & Alcohol and Wonderwall. Now rumors of Champagne Supernova being soundchecked. Where does it end? Not to mention it is the first thing anyone is talking about on the forum. Always the first videos uploaded.

I would love to hear "A bell will ring", "Boy with the blues" or something like these, because these would be a surprise! would prefer "turn up the sun" 100 times over "champagne supernova"

Going more than two songs would be a problem in my opinion. We have been criticising them both for years about a lack of variety and while I agree with spaneli that there are certain songs that feel like both of them should be a part of that still leaves plenty there for Beady Eye to try.

Beady Eye love playing a good Noel Gallagher tune these days.

"Champagne Supernova" and "Live Forever" have been played during the soundcheck in Amsterdam too. The first one they played was "Four Letter Word" and it was very short soundcheck (less than half an hour).
