I know this is an American dominated forum so I thought I'd introduce you to a new British band called the Family Rain. They're a kind of Pop/Rock band with a bit of Grunge mixed in. A little bit like The Black Keys if I was to compare them to anyone current. They're three brothers and I really couldn't recommend them any further. They have just (February 3rd) dropped their debut album and I will share what I think are the best songs from it. (My own personal favourite) (This one is not on the standard album, it might be on the deluxe edition or it might be a B-side. It was on an EP I have) Give them a listen and see what you think, I really do think they will go on to become massive, myself!

I'm becoming more and more familiar with them, they've got a solid and proven formula they're working with. I guess we're going to hear more of them.

I've seen them at London Calling (in upstairs hall of Paradiso) last year and I quite liked them. They were good live.
and who said this is an "American dominated forum"? Many of us are non-Americans. We have a lot of true music lovers on this forum and that's one of the great things on here.

Agreed mimmihopps most of my friends here are not from USA except for the obvious people I post with all the time ..... And I wish you were present in 05 meet and eva as well but we had people as you know from 4 continents attend the meet and concert , Europe alone off top of my head , we had the welsh lads , Scotland England , Ireland , Germany , Spain , Portugal. ,Canada , Argentina , brazil , South Africa , , and all at the time were major posters , so it's definatly got a American flavor per se but certainly international and UK centric as much ...IMO

At that moment, my first ever Oasis gig was yet to come, so I was so jealous of you guys. Good times, kalas.

Discovered this band in September so was gutted to have learnt they played Reading on the Sunday so I was ecstatic when they supported Miles Kane and they certainley didn't disappoint.I saw them recently at Rough Trade East and they chatted and signed stuff and seemed really nice blokes.I bought Reason to die along for them to sign and that was the 1st time that they had seen it ,it was a bit nuts really that they hadn't seen one of their singles and they were showing each other so that was a good feeling to have if you know what I mean.Saw them a week later at The Garage for a full set and again they lived up to my expectations and more .Alexander is my favourite track and Binocular is really catchy .Friction is so much better live and not forgetting Vulpicide. Can't wait to see them again.
