As expected, Blur will regroup again soon. That's almost certain. So that means Oasis AND Blur are both active again. That means that there will always e people who gonna start about "The Battle Of The Bands" ....
What d'ya think? Will this happen again? If there won't ne swearing about HIV and stuff then it will be great I think ! Finally some good mayhem again ! hahaha
Oasis and Blur are both mega bands, so I can't wait !

why is that? Just some good competition between to great bands who already had a battle in the past, what;s wrong with that? Even if it;s just a battle formed by the press ... ? Why am I an asshole in your eyes ? Don't get u ....

blur never split up, graham just left...
I think Blur's post-britpop albums are better than oasis post-britpop. But oasis britpop is better than blurs. by far.
Oasis it the better band I think.
13 is so fucking brilliant. Trimm Trabb = amazing.

Damon wages Gorillaz warfare on Liam -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IF monkey boy Liam Gallagher ever finds himself at a loose end, he could always chum up with arch rival Damon Albarn in his cartoon band Gorillaz. Despite their 10-year-old feud, Damon says (with tongue wedged firmly in cheek): "I'd love him to be on the next Gorillaz record, but let's wait and see how his band does in the next 12 months. I'm sure he'll be all right on his own - he doesn't really need me. "Gorillaz isn't really a band any more. We're making a feature film, so the next bit of Gorillaz music will be a film score. That's the whole point - get people together in surprising circumstances." Blur working with Oasis? That would be a surprise. Hmmz, strange thing? They already started

nah, they just slag off each other a bit, cos that's the way it tis. but it's been almost 11 years since that "battle of the bands" and they've grown up as bands and as persons......

Damon says that he gets on ok with Liam because they mutually take the piss, but says he's never been able to get anywhere with Noel.

In my opinion, I think there is an oppertunity we get something like a Battle again. Not by the bands themselfs, but made by the press, like back then. I wouldn't last so long, and wouldn't be so big as then, cos the bandmembers themselfs have grown up (at least i think so).
But it's interesting for the record companies and the music magazines to start this kinda things again. Like a competition....
Back then these to bands have put eacother to a unhuman hight. Promising ... ? Two bands ... some 11 or 12 years later ...
Oasis will take the victory again, of that i'm sure...

A bunch of middle-aged men squabbling like they did 10 years ago, how embarrasing would that be? I remember all that, all us kids were taken in by the north v south thing, but it was just ridiculous. All started by Blur's record company who were getting very worried at how Oasis had overtaken them since 1994 and were on their way to becoming the biggest band in the world. Intially Noel was as bored and confused by it as everyone else, until he got asked about it one too many times, on a bad day, and dragged himself into it. Blur pulled out all the stops to 'win' what they started, then looked even more ridiculous when 6 months on, Great Escape had sold precisely 23 copies, whereas Morning Glory was owned by every fifth person in the UK. Blur were another decent Bripop band, whose profile was raised pathetically by shamelessly hanging on to the coat-tails of a band who were on their way to being the biggest thing since The Beatles. So anyway, it was pointless then, and now, well it would just be embarassing. Rant over.

I don't think blur will be the same without Graham.. Graham is an amazingly talented musician and a key part of the Blur sound.. i don't think Noel can be arsed with another battle these days.. he's got better things to do
