Am travelling in Canada at the moment from Sydney and came across a copy of Def Maybe in two different record shops; I noticed that it's different to the Aussie and Jap releases: the spines are blue rather than turquoise and the tracklisting is at the top rather than the bottom on the back of the case.
But most importantly it says 'Digsy's Diner' instead of 'Dinner' - can someone tell me if this is a fake/ bootleg or illegal copy or whether all the Canadian copies are like this?
By the way, where do you Canadians go to get an Oasis fix? Where do you buy your stuff? HMV? Haven't had any luck finding anything beyond the albums. I'm always on the lookout.
Had a mega night last night though at the Cellar, Vancouver, Brit night - the cover band did Supersonic, Wonderwall, RWI & Champ Supernova, and the dj played She's Electric as well. Since my iPod died, even cover versions are pretty damn exciting!

I think the Canadian versions were a little different. My copy of DM has the turquoise spine and it says Digsy's Diner on it as well. I don't know why they made them different but they are. I think the design on the CD itself is different as well. My cd has a pattern type thing on it and isn't a solid colour.
As for where i get my Oasis stuff - usually HMV or other record shops around toronto. HMV used to stock a lot of old singles but they don't anymore so i just get them online if i have to.
