I think this should have been the first single off DBTT- it shows the mature aspect of Oasis.
How many times have you been off your head after worring about shit and then things become clear - then you wake up in the morning and feel even worse!!

While I don't think it's the strongest on the album, I still think it's the most obvious single from the album, really think it would have made a big impact. Ridiculous that there was no chance of it being released just cos it wasn't written by a Gallagher.

The 'My life is standing still, but I'm still alive' is like "I'm stuck here for the moment, I don't know where I'm going, but I'm completely fine and this problem I have to overcome isn't going to last". It's like a Tori Amos lyric I love: 'I found the secret to life: I'm OK when everything is not OK' Not sure it would make the best single, but it's one of those ones that hits me every time it comes on. an awesome song. this, like Little By Little, is another song that i don't understand why people bash it so much. great lyrics and very oasis. great to listen to on a beautiful day or whenever yer down coz it's so uplifting. if there's any gripe about it, i would say sumtimes it seems a lil longer then it should be...but other times it seems just right. i know that doesn't make sense, but it makes sense to me!

I have mixed feelings on it, I mean most of the lyrics are good but I hate the beginning of the song I just lose intrest in it before it really picks up and I think that that's the reason why it wasn't a single

What a great song... shame they didn't do it live but then again I can't IMAGINE them doing it at a gig... Liam would murder it

pah, well they dont do let there be love (i cant say i care though, its not my favourite) even though thats a single so it could just be trend to release isngles and not play them at gigs. let there be love as a single.....yuck -.- keep the dream alive as a single  |

I can understand why this song is enjoyed so much. But for some reason I never really caught onto it. And I realize that it's a good song and I SHOULD like it based upon my musical tastes, but for some reason I can't really get into it. Anyone else have that with this song? Or any song?
