In this video, Gem Archer says he believes Noel could go on a high brow political discussion programme and hold his own.
We've seen musicians like Jonny Rotten and Jarvis Cocker on Question Time in the past, would you like to see Noel do the same? He comments on politics fairly regularly, gets asked about it and doesn't seem to have an issue with putting his opinions out there. Do you think he would hold his own or be out of his depth? Should he just leave that shit alone?

Russell Brand has done BBCQT. Yeah I think Noel would be great. He can relate to the people better than most polititons.

Politicians are fucking idiots and even though he could do well I' d rather advice him to stay out of that shit full of lying & nonsense. When I see/read the news I keep thinking I' d rather spend money that takes my government with taxes on dog food , travelling and alcohol There is no rule without exception but I guess it can apply worldwide.

It'd be funny and I'd definitely watch, but I tend to find the celebrity appearances a bit cringeworthy to be honest. John Lydon certainly was, although I think Noel would be far more engaging than him. He'd hold his own no doubt, but I just think he'd end up resorting to the "When I was growing up in a council estate" cliches

Yeah I hate it when they have left wing celebs on, they just make themselves look like fools and yet the audience clap whatever they say just because they're famous, and it degrades the programme. Noel's better off out of it, he can get his views across in other ways.

Politicians are fucking idiots If that truly is the case then it says a lot more about the general population voting them in than the politicians themselves.

Politicians are fucking idiots If that truly is the case then it says a lot more about the general population voting them in than the politicians themselves. it doesn' t have to, but it might do. I do believe it is more about certain economic lobbies/groups of ppl trying to gain more wealth rather than some left/right political attitudes and at the end of the day it is all about money and all other factors are irrelevant. Capitalism has existed under many forms of government but the role of politicians is becoming neglected. That' s why I' d check in papers rather football results and page 3 girl than some political nonsense which is being published for ppl so they can fool themselves they actually can have any sort of impact on the situation. just my opinion

Why can't we just have a 'None of the above' voting option? So then we can actually count how many people are sick of this current party system.

Haha I don't know about that, but our Queen has more knowledge in her little finger than David Cameron does about how this country should be run.
