You know, last month I tried to live without OASIS for one day - I've deleted all OASIS tunes from my iPod. So, I was able to live without it for only a day: in the morning i went to school and I was waiting for a whole day to come back and upload Oasis to my player again. So if you feel that you are bored of Oasis, use this method and you will see, that they are SIMPLY THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD!

yeh ive done that before....stopping listening to oasis
y'know, after listening to Oasis on my ipod, at home on the computer, in the car to and from school, and to and from work, and to and from anywhere else it does eventually get boring
so afew days without Oasis can help restore being MAD FER IT
hell, i once tried to go a month without them....fuckin impossible i'll tell you that much
but i do switch it up *sometimes* when driving....maybe Lennon today, Counting Crows tomorrow, and Stone Roses the day after that...
but i always keep coming back to oasis....simply put, cant get enough of them fuckin hell i could rant all day about how mega they are...wont tho haha

since we're sharing inspirational oasis stories i'll put in my pitch after a LONG day at school, comin home is a shitter... public transport takes ages but when the trains are stuck and the supersonic drums kick in I just think... "Oasis just saved my life" A right tune at the right time can just turn your day right around

I can't stop the songs from popping into my head even if I wanted to. And um....I don't want to. I can't wait for the next CD and tour. Oasis and their fans -------Live Forever.

Yeah.. I agree with Live4evr
I usually really really get into them and listen to like an album a day or a concert or whatever..... then sometimes I can go 2 weeks and not listen to a single tune.....
I think it needs to swing like that

i'm like that with all bands. im obsessive over one album for 2 weeks straight but then wont listen to it for 6 months. oasis is more consistent though, and unlike other bands, i have that underlying knowledge that i love them to pieces. cos as much as it is based on the music, so much of the interviews, this forum, articles, dvds all keep oasis in my mind even if i havent listened to an oasis album for 2 weeks (well thats rare, but IF i didnt listen for 2 weeks)

Just arrived in Vancouver from Sydney for a year long trip (on to the UK in 4 weeks for the rest of the time) and feel great with the knowledge that everywhere I go, my iPod is carrying all the Oasis videos plus their entire catalogue, bootlegs, and interviews (I find Noel's voice very comforting...) I even uploaded bloody Wibbling Rivalry - is that ridiculous? So yes, I love this band! They'll always do it for me.

since we are telling stories about what oasis means to people, get this the other night i had a dream that scream, yes thats scream (the movie) was in my house and i wasnt panicking about the fact he was trying to kill me with his knife, no what i was most worried about was the fact that in his other hand he was holding the tambourine that liam give to me, the shit was trying to steal it lol thats how much they mean to me. any other oasis wiered dreams out there lol

yeah i recently had an oasis dream. for some reason i had come into posession of noel's guitar and, for whatever reason, his pick. the whole dream was about me finding him and giving it back to him. weirdly though i had the worst time giving back the pick. the dream took place on tour busses and at backstage areas.
worst feeling is waking up though and realizing its a dream and secondly that you're that obsessed and bummed its a dream.

You know, last month I tried to live without OASIS for one day - I've deleted all OASIS tunes from my iPod. That's nuts! I have like almost 150 oasis songs on my iPod and that's not even including all of my live versions! It would take me a long ass time just to upload em back. Admirable stunt mate but crazy nonetheless.

I think it needs to swing like that Same here. If its a new album, its usually on heavy rotation in my CD player and iPod. After the excitement dies down, I can go weeks without listening to an oasis song. Lately though I've been OBSESSED with Go Let It Out. Can't stop fookin listening to it for some reason (besides it being ace ofcourse!).

worst feeling is waking up though and realizing its a dream and secondly that you're that obsessed and bummed its a dream. oh my god, i know that feeling EXACTLY. there was one where i was explaining to liam about how i have always dreamt of meeting him, but im so happy that its finally come true. and then waking up. that really sucked =P
