The guy was in the 'Wonderwall' video, played a handful of gigs and then fucked off into complete obscurity! who even was this guy? According to Wikipedia he was in a band called the Ya Ya's who oddly enough I've actually heard of but they don't even have a Wikipedia.
Since leaving Oasis he seems to have completely vanished, I can not find a post-Oasis article or photo of him anywhere.
So my question is,
What ever happened to... Scott McLeod?

Maybe Scott McLeod was actually Scott Bakula from Quantum Leap.

Maybe Scott McLeod was actually Scott Bakula from Quantum Leap. I see the resemblance. or maybe he was Tony Mccarroll in disguise, reaping revenge on his former band mates. Hell, it could well have been for all we know

Hi everyone, Regarding Scott McLeod - does anyone have a copy of the paper/magazine where the photos of Scott outside Euston station appear? We are keen to use these photos of Scott in the film (as not that many pictures of Scott actually exist!), however if we cannot find out who the copyright owner is (i.e the photographer) we sadly we won't be able to use them! Any help on this one would be enormously appreciated! Thanks, Hannah (hannah.oasisfilm@gmail.com)

Their site says the photo copyright is with "Taringa" and it was uploaded by their Katang user.

That website has now closed down - all the copyright sections on their website are filled in with the name of the person who uploaded them, not the legal copyright owner sadly! On page 50, Credited to Big Pictures.Perhaps they might have the shot you're looking for as well. Hope this helps.

Big Pictures have gone into administration - if there are any other photo agencies or photographers listed in any other publications, that would be great! Lots of photographers were present, so hopefully we can work pass Big Pictures. Thank you!

Unfortunately that issue of VOX only indicates "Big Pictures" for that other shot I tweeted, with no credit for the individual photographer. I read in the Guardian that BPGG Limited took over Big Pictures in 2012, but am unsure if they themselves are still active or able to provide access this archive shot.

Last of the Scott McLeod related photos is the clown hat from the Wonderwall video signed by all participants with Scott's signature partially visible at the back. This isn't my possession or photograph unfortunately, and can't remember where this came from in the collection hannahoasis

If anyone wondered what the ya-yas with Scott on bass sounded like, and with Paul Newsome (later of Sour Mash signings Proud Mary)

Thanks Jim, I did hear that there is at least an album's worth of songs that were recorded in the early 1990s. Also Craig Gill of the Inspirals was supposed to be doing a band with Scott after The Ya-Yas, not sure if that was St Jack or if anything came of it though.

"Good luck with signing on" were Noel's parting words when McLeod phoned back saying he'd changed his mind and wanted to stay.

Scott McLeod will live forever.
Maybe he escaped into space and time like Lee Mavers?

Fuck knows.

Anyway, there are not much places where he can be. He must be there where Guigsy is.
