yeh, all the popular ones, but how many damn songs does it take to like them then?? lol

Coolness, witty, great lyrics, great live gigs, guitar solos are ace....Oasis have it all, it really amazes me how people believe the media these days...make ur damn mind up...fuckin quality band

i think its cos a lot of people like the songs, but feel they morally cannot like a band who is so arrogant =S
twisted if you ask me. also people only get the snippets in the papers that consist of 'another wonderbrawl' or soemthing equally stupid title. maybe 'noel slags off every band in teh histoy of the universe apart from teh beatles and the redwalls' i mean if they read the actual interview they'd proabably realise what a funny guy noel is but they dont.

Honestly, some people just don't dig them, which is fine. Your an idiot if you think everyone in the world should love Oasis, they're not a lot of people's style.

I just want to know how many songs it constitutes for someone to like the band.
8 songs in and of itself are a fuckin lot to claim that one hate the band....but whatever....
i think some people claim to hate Oasis just to be 'cool' cos Oasis arnt THAT big anymore...but really the respect them enough (not like us on this board, cos we're MAD FER IT...but y'know what i mean...)

I hand picked about 10 songs for a friend who said she didn't like Oasis - gave her the CD to put on her i-pod. She never said anything about it for weeks and weeks and I decided to keep quiet too. Than the other day I realised she was singing Talk Tonight (tune/word perfect) and all the way through. Hee hee. So when I said 'That's an Oasis track'. She said that she was really getting into them and the only one she didn't like was Gas Panic. So I'm thinking fair enough. Then I got to thinking - 'so what's wrong with Gas Panic?  |

i've never heard anyone say the only good song they made was wonderwall (cos that's just the most stupid thing to say really) but i come across loads saying 'their music is great, but they're such vaginas' or 'i like thier music but i cant stand gallaghers' i dont get it! gallaghers just rule all the way, the best guys ever ;D  |

My girlfriend pissed me off the other week when she said she didn't really like Oasis. I was like "thats mostly all I ever play in my car.... and it seems like every song that comes on you say you like.... but you don't like them? WTF?" I don't get some people, its like they make up in their minds they're not gonna like them so when they hear it, they just dismiss it right away and try to figure out why they don't like it while they're listening to it.

strangest experience ever was a couple years ago at school, i walked into the girls locker room where there was an informal singalong to wonderwall. i was very much 'what. the. fuck?' but i still thought it was cool. cept that most of them probably didnt even know it was oasis.
not really related to thread, but everyone keeps mentioning wonderwall
