I like the production on "Explodes". Reminds me of their debut album. Anything that harks back to that style of music is a welcome to my ears.

Fuck production. Totally uninspired songwriting on both tunes . It's Kasabian not Bob Dylan. Those looking for excellent songwriting have come to the wrong place.

Think most people know what they want from kasabian and there's a huge difference between Dylan and uninspired.. Hopefully the album will be good

I've missed that style of production. I know those lyrics won't be the best but if the production is good, I'll be spinning it a lot.

Production is a part of the songwriting process, especially for this kind of electronic dance music. It's more about the build up or concatenation (is that even a word) of electronic sounds. The songwriting is ok though otherwise i wouldn't like it!

Think most people in this thread do love them. I also loved their debut a perfect mix between two genres, tho I thought the songwriting on West Ryder elevated them to being relevant Hoping this album sees them back to glory

anyone found a decent rip/mp3 of Eez-Eh yet? suprised theyve not made it available to download already Just copy the YouTube link, google a YouTube to mp3 site, and download. Very easy. Takes seconds and it'll get you by until a better quality rip is made available.

Overall I give both songs a thumbs up. I like the electronic edge to them.

I like the vibe. Nice bass line on eez-ah but god damn those are some of the worst lyrics I've heard in a while. The melody is pretty meh as well. Neither of them have great voices to be honest and that really hurts them too. So pretty much how I feel about Kasabian after their debut has yet to change. The production is great but most of their songs just aren't anything special.
Didn't hear Explodes maybe it is better.

That Eez-Eh.... sounds like Chas & Dave have gone electronic. Awful.
They should never have sacked Chris Karloff - it's like a poor b-side from the first album.
