His voice is decent. Considering he's just done some live proper gigs.
His vocals for the acoustic shows around the release of BE we're mind blowing.

It's really good to hear Liam sound so good even after some demanding gigs lately. I think its one of the first times he has sounded really spot on for a whole tour. The man is taking car of himself and it shows. Well done Liam!

-Sorry to say this, but most of the time he's out of tune... -I really like OATNE though, amazing song. And Liam is singing OK there. -Even though I like Iz Right, didn't really like his performance here. I'll always love Liam, and still think he's an amazing rock 'n roll frontman, but as far as his singing capacities are concerned... It's too nasal, and out of tune a lot of time. It's better than his shouting during the DOYS/DBTT tour, but still. I can't imagine anyone listening to this and thinking: "wow, this guys' voice is unique, I should check out some of his other stuff." whereas up to 10 years ago this definitely was the case. Now we're just happy when it isn't too bad... Mind you, I still like BDI/Liam/the second album, just needed to get this of my chest. Even when people saying that "he's sounding good", it's just good for Liam, but still not actually "good" singing... Go and listen to soem Xfactor shit, u might be able to find there some "good singing" maybe it is not perfect but this moaning about Liam singing abilities in nothing more than attention seeking. U ' ve had 10 years or so to deal with the fact Liam will never sound like in 90ties and u did not get over it. Sorry, don' t want to argue but had to get this of my chest. Indeed, X-factor contestants generally sing much better than Liam. This doesn't mean I prefer listening to them instead of Liam. Being a frontman is the whole package, singing, tunes, attitude/stage presence... As far as the whole package is concerned Liam is still top-notch. Not trying to seek attention, I just wondered myself that because I idolize Liam I always was trying to look for excuses (he's had a rough tour, he's tired, he's not trying...) Now I tried to look at it objectivly, and I came to the conclusion that he just isn't a very good singer anymore. You're right though, I'm moaning and probably ain't telling anything new, just actually realized this now (never dared to face it untill now I guess ). I'll still listen the hell out of everything he'll ever does though.

I get what you're saying although the acoustic sessions at the beginning of BE like that French radio session, Abbey Road etc was one of the best I've heard him ever sing, up there with the 90's days (slightly behind of course).
But it was impressive as a singer or whatever not just impressive for liam.
I know on the whole it's not as good especially full band but we've known this for ages n I don't really give a fuck.

Being a frontman is the whole package, singing, tunes, attitude/stage presence... As far as the whole package is concerned Liam is still top-notch. you're spot on right there. there are session singers and even church singers in every town and city in America who are technically 'better singers' than liam. does this mean we would want to stand in queue for 7 hours all day to watch them perform for 90 minutes? of course not. liam has--- and always will be- -- the consummate rock 'n' roll star. there's just an aura around him when he's on stage. on the nights when his voice isn't up to par he more than makes up for it with his stage presense, and when he brings his 'a' game to a gig with the voice, as a frontman he's simply untouchable.

In terms of actually 'singing' rather than the whole front man thing, this tops a lot of vocals in the 90s.

Holy crap! I'd forgotten just how good that session on OÜI FM was...
That was such an exciting time to be a Beady Eye fan. I remember Flick Of The Finger coming out and being blown away by that tune for a while and then watching that and seeing Liam back in front of a mic again, looking and sounding the business, full of confidence about the new album and singing two promising sounding new tunes for the first time.
It's a shame how things went quickly went pear-shaped when BE didn't sell and all that hop-ha with Liam cheating on his wife came out.

Liam's voice from the 90's would not suit most of the songs on BE or most of Oasis later material in general. Imagine Liam's 90's voice on Lyla, I'm Outta Time, or The Hindu Times, it would sound strange.

Holy crap! I'd forgotten just how good that session on OÜI FM was... Just thought exactly the same thing, although on people saying his best acoustic performance ever I don't think it touches the acoustic stuff from the early nineties like his Live Forever.
