Even though im not a fan of it, start anew would have been a better choice than soul love

Completely follows the Beady Eye trend of boring videos about nothing. Were I a member of the band I'd be pissed to have to waste my time doing these. I think they are pissed off to be having to do these videos as its pretty clear none of them are interested in doing them tbh. I don't blame them either, if they did a really good creative video it would make no difference anyway. Oh yeah definitely. They're a band and they make music and are good at that and at the end of the day that's all that counts. I just think it's a shame that they're forced to make these and especially given the final result. Waste of time for them! At least the song is getting airplay (I quite like Soul Love).

Great album track, not the single and the video...Strange choise of singles this time... True but I was thinking about this earlier today. I think Beady Eye are trying to show that they're not a one trick poney that can only play basic rock and roll (which is pretty much what DGSS was). There's so many obvious rock and roll singles on the record (Face The Crowd, I'm Just Saying, Iz Rite). The fact that they released Flick of the Finger first with Second Bite of the Apple I think is comparable to Noel deciding at the last minute to release The Death of You and Me as his first single instead of If I Had a Gun because of the different style of music.

Appallingly bad videos, baffling choices of singles. Madmen are running that whole BDI operation, madmen I tell you.

Good point. Trouble is The Death of You and Me was still a strong tune. Soul Love is an album track at best. Should have concentrated on promoting Iz Rite.
