I think their demise isn't just Moyes' fault, but the players they bought didn't really help them.
As good as Mata is I dont think he'll solve anything, and imo he's very over priced at 37 mil..you guys need someone like Roy Keane..nowadays someone like Vidal. But having a player like him can never hurt and the market is still open so who knows. But with RVP back you'l probably make top 4

When u guys were comparing Mou and Guardiola. Mou is great at what he does. His team is always prepared well and they actually don' t play the ugliest football ever seen, most of the players love him and put the team on the first place. Guardiola has done excellent work in Barca and now is unbelievable in Bayern, but... barca will need a restart soon and at Bayern he took over the best team right now, who made Barcelona look like headless chickens...& had Messi who would NOT be able to score more than 15 in PL if u ask me. ManU will not make top4 this season. I' d put my house on it if I had one

I expect them to get past Olympiakos at Old Trafford. Disillusionment in the squad, and perhaps towards the manager, but it's surely too big a competition for them not to be motivated at this last gasp chance?

Whilst I agree , them not getting a away goal , murkys the waters , any sort of olyampokps goal puts great pressure on them

Like I said. There the Yankees of UK. They will be back with vengeance ....sadly as far as money, yes, they're the same as the Yankees. but at least Manchester United at least try to develop talent. the Yankees are in the habit of paying players for their career stats and not necessarily what they're worth at the time. i can't stand the Yankees. and i remember in the 80's when they fucking sucked. God bless.

God bless. No doubt. I agree .....but they didn't really suck suck in 80 s ....went to a World Series and finished second and third slot with overhyped superstars. but it wouldn't say sucked. But I agree the only 2 plsyers I remember them developing were jeter and mattingly. Maybe pettite ?

You're getting sacked in the morning, sacked in the morning, you're getting sacked in the morning.
Not even a chance in hell for top 5, let alone top 4. Oh dear.
But we knew that back in September, now didn't we?
Makes you appreciate what wenger has done now, doesn't it?

Love Wenger, but Brendan Rodgers has shown himself to be the man this year and todays result shows that. Arsenal and Chelsea couldn't perform at Old Trafford even against Moyes this year.

two options, sack Moyes or sack half of the team and start from the scratch ... If I was the owner I would do both, but Moyes would have to empty his office this morning.

Give David 10 years or so, he' ll have more of them on his list

I'm sorry , but I don't buy the bullshit that moyes forgot go manage ,, he was did great things at Everton got them respectable. Sir Alex knew when to leave .. I say give him next year if by then he has shown he lost the plot then axe him but this is a team he largely inherited ...the man can manage

God, think of the compensation required to sack Moyes - there's 6 years worth if they are to sack him. Then there is the backroom staff to deal with, which are all his. Would love to know what is going on behind the scenes. They say they're backing him, but I don't know... Likewise, if I were a United fan, I'd be going ballisic at the likes of Rooney and Van Persie. Rooney is sucking the club with all those wages, yet performs shit, while Van Pussy is getting all petulant and sulking because he isn't being paid the same as Rooney. The players don't look as if they care. If Roy Keane had bad things to say about a decent team when he was sacked from the club, god only knows what he would do if he were there today.
