Here are some books on the band: Oasis - Take me there: Paul Mathur Brothers: Paul Gallagher Oasis Talking: Harry Shaw Oasis - Lost Inside: Paul Moody The Word on the Street: Eugene Masterton Oasis What's the Story: Ian Robertson Getting High: Paolo Hewitt Forever the People: Paolo Hewitt Does anyone have any others? Please tell me What's everyone's favourites and why. Mine would have to be Paolo Hewitt's Getting High. Also Paul Gallagher's cause he fills in quite a lot of the early days and like his other brothers never hangs back with his personal thoughts!

Yes yes yes. I probably should have given that one a special mention too. It's got a forward by Noel and Liam and he, like Paolo Hewitt was in the thick of it all during the early days of madness and mayhem. I've just re-read. Buy it! Enjoy.

I have 5 of the books. My favorite was the one by Paolo Hewitt, Getting High. I read his other one and Take Me There. I have the one by Paul Gallagher and the one by Ian Robertson too, but have yet to read those.

Take me There is excellent, even if Mathurs is a little biased towards Be Here Now at the end...

Supersonic Supernova was pretty good, even though I don't know how much of the info was in other books at the time.
I have Chris Hutton's book, but regrettably got bored and never finished it because he kept going on about the scene in Manchester and there was only so much of that I really cared to read, to be honest.

See thought to fully understand what Oasis are bout or what Liam & Noel are about you HAVE to know the Manchester scene. Chris did a superv job of that. I mean the guy has details in there. One of the best oasis books around if you ask me. Most of the books have the same shit in em, its like reading the same book with almost the same pics just diff cover. Thats why Chris' is a must have for TRUE fans.

Thanks for all the info, guys. Can you tell me a bit more about the Mick Middles book? Yeah.. This book is from 96 so is very early related. It tells how oasis had risen since 91 and fallen on the n. american tour of that year. It's a good/accurate book but I wouldn't buy it if I saw it today on a store.
