Just finished watching the Oscars on tv and I noticed that the great Oasis track from DBTT, Part of the Queue, which is featured in the nominated film North Country, wasn't even nominated for best song. It's only about a thousand times better than the rap song that won. Interestingly enough, in the tv ads for the DVD of North Country, Part of the Queue is prominently playing under the narration and dialogue. I guess the ad agency that made the commercial has more sense, class, and taste than the Hollywood motion picture academy. But, that's just my humble opinion.

'Part Of The Queue' wasn't even on the soundtrack to 'North Country', it was simply used in the Trailer.
I also think they use songs that were specifically written for the movie.

Yeah, it's "Best Original Song," isn't it?
