Wow that is weird. Los Campesinos have a track called "Avocado, Baby”.

There are very few bands I listen to on repeat. This is one of them.
I don't know how Gareth does it. Every song he's created is so catchy. And his lyrics are amazing. I actually think he's a lyrical genius, and is far superior to Alex Turner (whom I actually find incredibly overrated).
Can't believe LC! Aren't bigger. Love this band. Good live, too. Would do anything to see them live again.
From the two songs above, this is shaping up to be yet another fantastic album.

I'll have to check it out. This band is pretty solid, though they can get to be a bit annoying after a while. Their first album is superb, the rest are relatively solid. I love that they are one of the few twee/indie pop bands that can actually rock out. Gareth's lyrics are great, but I don't think he is better than Turner by any means. Maybe a bit better at writing some angsty stuff, than Turner but sometimes it seems that he is just spitting out wordplay/dairy entries for the sake of it, when the song and the melody don't necessarily need all those extra words. Turner can really gotten well and trimming the fat off his lyrics (especially with AM and Suck It and See), but they remain interesting as always.

It's produced well, a bit polished, full sound. You can see the evolution in this album - it's a clear conglomeration of previous efforts. It's what "Hello Sadness" aspired to, but didn't quite deliver on. I just wish it was longer than 10 tracks. I could listen to this band forever. I'm very pleased with this album, though.

Do these lads know how to make bad albums? I do not think so. I. Do not. Think. So. www.metacritic.com/person/los-campesinos! Somehow AllMusic fucked up in their No Blues review. It is so clear that this album is one of their best. Album of the year contender here.

You're alone here man! I listened it, but I did'nt enjoy. Not bad, but you know, every song on this album has a taste of "déjà-vu".

Boo. Boo this man. Boo. lol. I am probably not the first who does not like this album I have a feeling Beady’s Here Now is actually some sort of band manager/PR spokes person for the band.

pretty good album, very fun to listen to but it seems a slow step down in quality. I much preferred romance is boring, their debut and hello sadness (in that order), both musically and lyrically (this is more on par with we are beautiful we are doomed which never struck me as hard). avocado baby and glue me are top quality though

I still can't stop playing this album. It's by far their best. The lyrics throughout are brilliant. People really get off on Alex Turner, and underlook this? Really? I should work for LC! with all the fooking promotion I do for them. Top album. Top band. Fuck you all.

You probably joined many forums as well to push their product.

I much preferred romance is boring, their debut and hello sadness (in that order), both musically and lyrically (this is more on par with we are beautiful we are doomed which never struck me as hard). avocado baby and glue me are top quality though Hello Sadness is the only album that I had force myself to like (as a whole...there are some individual class tracks, like To Tundra). It just felt forced in places - but the maturity that Gareth was striving for on that album was pulled off brilliantly on the follow up, No Blues. To Tundra is a perfect example of Hello Sadness leading to No Blues. I still don't get the snobbish refusal of this forum, and by the world in general. This band should be huge. I'm glad they aren't though, it wouldn't suit their persona. Gareth's lyrics are more personal, and more complex than Alex Turner's. Gareth and FRANK Turner are in another class. I. Fucking. Love. This. Band.
