the media attention they're getting is just ridiculous. they have some good songs but far better debut albums have been released this decade. they're a good band but all that's surrounding them makes me sick. it's a bit (but bigger and less justified) like when Coldplay released AROBTTH. I like that album but imo it wasn't worth all the attention it was getting cos Parachutes is better. anyway Coldplay proved to be a great band while AM have only released two singles

White stripes should have won best live band but were not even nominated |

Hey peoples why do you love slagging off the arctic monkeys. I think its great that a band is getting all this attention for once instead of som of the other shit thats floating around.
We all like oasis here, but can i say they are not the be all and end all of music. To linnhe obviously you have never heard of the sex pistols cause they were being cocky vaginas well before oasis.
As noel says "weve been a phenomenon once dont want to be one again" and they also said that should be left to some other band.
And what fucken difference does it make if they only have two singles anyways they will put more out dipshit at one stage oasis only had two singles.
and by the way how do you know that the artic monkeys dont become a very good band cause obviously your just comparing them to oasis all the time, only time will tell. Till then stop fucking slagging off every fucken band including the artic monkeys.

I thought he was quite amusing but he hasn't got IT; no one in that band does. Maybe if they sorted their clothes out first. Arctic Mokeys have made me realise why so many people dislike Oasis, the overexposure can be very annoying (if Kaiser Chiefs got any more coverage I might consider doing a Mark Chapman on their frontman). |

arctic monkeys are very good, i hope that the continue this line of form. I hope they become very big, the world needs a good band. otherwise we'll still be listening to bands like oasis, coldplay U2 and stuff when we're 80 years old.
