Saw him last week. It was a good gig, but seeing him 3 times in a year was enough for a while. Very mixed audiences - families, aged people, teenage girls. I didn't feel "at home" at his gig this time. But his guitar skill is pretty good.

any of you guys ever meet him? If you did, was it before or after the concert? I'm going to see him next month and I really want to meet him

I found this video interesting (for guitar players)
Never been to his gig...like his songs but tbh i' d expect the gig to be more relaxed than it should be. I just don' t see anyone aged 20 + going mad for it .... but better than sitting @ home watching league cup

I might be wrong but he is a tad overrated much like Miles Kane.

I might be wrong but he is a tad overrated much like Miles Kane. I'm going to have to agree with Lennon on this, he nor Miles is for me. I like Miles Kane as a guy and The Last Shadow Puppets is really good, but both strike me as a poor man's Lee Mavers. I'm a huge fan of The La's so I don't feel an urge to dip into music which seems like an inferior version of them at times. Again, I agree with Lennon in that I might be wrong on this - their album tracks may have some gems on them but from what I've heard on the radio is average at best - particularly What Doesn't Kill You which sounds atrocious.
