from an outsiders view, the U.S. would seem completely fucking insane and very dangerous but it's not that bad...
i don't walk down the street expecting to get shot/see a gunfight, etc......i've mentioned this here before but i've only seen a gun fired once and that was at a gun range and it was really weird and awkward.....i don't own a gun (legally i can't own a gun but that's a story for a different time.), nor do i want to own a gun......
if it were that dangerous in the U.S. i would've been shot years ago for being very outspoken - to the point of being obnoxious at times, and/or spending a good amount of time in areas where you'll get shot for being the wrong color, and granted i didn't spend a lot of time in those areas at night but nonetheless.....
having said all this, the gun laws in America are way too loose and they need more strict....a noticeable change wouldn't occur immediately but future generations would live safer lives...
God bless.

I guess they need to bring in more guns to prevent these mass shootings

God bless. As one of the outsiders, I'm don't fall into the group of people calling out for a total ban on guns...that's just stupid. Yes I'm talking about Piers Morgan. There needs to be more laws restricting certain weapons in my opinion, maybe only allowing smaller magazines/clip sizes could be a solution? Maybe more background checks? Just bluesky thinking at the moment. I think something we can all agree on though is weapons manufacturers having too much power over there, the amount of lobbying on gun laws in congress is absolutely ridiculous. If anything is to be passed over there, expect it to take a long time. Anyway...rant over!

God bless.

I hope that will help somewhat, but I fear the ''unfit people'' will probably find other ways to get hold of a gun.
