My favorite is Noel's album. I like both Beady Eye records, but DGSS is really inconsistent and BE is just way too derivative. (I mean, so are Noel's songs, but name a BE tune as good as Cigarettes and Alcohol.) Second Bite of The Apple is Dirty Day, Shine A Light is Desire. Don't Brother Me reminds me (in a bad way) of That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore. Anyway, yeah, Noel's album is by far my favorite. What's yours?

BE. It had to be Beady Eye because, as much as it pains me to say this, I still find NGHFB as a whole boring. I like some of the songs, especially mixed into all the rest, but the album ... Sorry! Among Beady Eye at the moment I do prefer BE, but that could change one day.

BE I'd say. Given the extra tracks we've got from the album, it could easily be as good as an Oasis album, on average - had those tracks been utilized. There are only a couple duds on BE (tracks 3, 8) that are really poor in comparison to the rest which is really well put together IMO. Can't stop listening to it. Except tracks 3 and 8 of course.
I really like DGSS and HFB but BE is the definite winner to me.

Without a doubt, Noel Gallaher's High Flying Birds.
I don't really listen to NGHFB that much anymore (I did give it a spin in the car last night, though).
However, EOTR and IIHAG are pure classics. Dream On and SBAJF are the weakest tracks, but they have grown on me and not bad at all. The rest of the album is very good.
While I do appreciate what BDI do, and they do have some tunes, I'm just not inclined to give either DGSS or BE a full listen.
Noel's album does plod, and his vocals do get tiresome after awhile, so that's when I yearn for Liam's sneering energy.
But as far as quality is concerned, NGHFB soars higher than the Beady Eyed Pigeons that stalk the grounds of Trafalgar Square.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds for me. I've been longing for a completely written Noel Gallagher album since 1997. Glad we all finally got another. His best and most complete writings in years. Looking forward to album #2. Full steam ahead.

I like Beady Eye. Just great Rock N Roll Albums with many different Songs. High Flying Birds is also great, but I just love that Beady Eye old school sound.

Noel stuff is acoustic pop-rock, Beady Eye is old rock n roll so... BE. To be honest I'd class Noel as being a lot more alternative rock now, and personally prefer him over BE. I have respect for BE though because they don't care what anyone thinks, because they're making the music they want to make.

Noel stuff is acoustic pop-rock , Beady Eye is old rock n roll so... BE. That's an understatement. It sounds really outdated to me. NGHFB isn't perfect but it's the best collection of Noel songs since BHN. Beady Eye does nothing for me.

Any of Noel's really. At a push I think I'd choose the debut. The production is pretty boring but it edges the other 2 in terms of songwriting.
