Oasis is becoming boring to me. I don't know why. But lately I haven't been able to get into them. Perhaps I've overlistened? I don't know. There's a lot to it.

Definitely Maybe is a killer album. But it seems that every album since then has been a step down further and further, which makes me sad. Nowadays Noel has no solo's left in him, only few amazing songs are getting written, and Liam sounds like shit. There's no bonehead or guigsy, and Oasis really isn't the same band before. A couple of kids from Manchester turned into Noel and Liam gallagher, with some other fairly prominant musicians working together. I don't know.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Frank Zappa and have been into that. Perhaps I'm just in another style of music now, and am just not relating to Oasis.

Lately I've been listening to Frank zappa (as I've said), Captain Beefheart, and Tom Waits. Both approach music way differnetly than most musicians I've listened to my whole lives. It's really different than the verve, stone roses, oasis, beatles, or any of the bands I normally listen to. So I suppose I'm just in another phase.

It's not like I dislike Oasis. That would be blasphemy! heh
