I don't understand it. Its been over a month and no word at all if it ever will be. I understand its not having much success but they definitely would be having more in the US if it was on iTunes

#BeAbsent #BeAmateurs #BeFailures #BeCheaters nice little intelligent addition there to a good thread with an honestly asked question by the OP. The (lack of) a US release is puzzling me still. The other deals that have been done to release the record must exclude the USA as a territory, which is quite normal - licencing an album on which the artist retains the copyright can go through different companies for different territories. That's why there are so many different iTunes 'stores' instead of one global one. Of course, releasing digitally on iTunes basically doesn't cost anything, so if the management had been unable to get anyone willing to license the release for the States they would just do it themselves as Beady Eye records or whatever, and tharefore make whatever share of sales they agreed to recieve as pure profit. so the only logical conclusions are that there is some kind of deal in place and there is a timetable for subsequent release that is totally separate from ROW, or there is some pre-exisitng contractual problem which is actually stopping the release of the record in the States. I hope that answers the original question.
