Okay, who here is missing out on one glaring omission from your music collection - whether it's Oasis related or a great album always topping lsits (e.g. Sgt Pepper)? You know, those albums that everyone says is great but somehow you don't have it, or just simply don't like the artist.
For me, Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon. Forgive me, but much 1970s music has passed me by. Prog rock just doesn't do it for me, but that said, I would be willing to give Pink Floyd a chance. I honestly only know a couple of their tunes but there is a stigma attached to prog rock for me - I always think their listeners are middle aged Jeremy Clarkson type guys for some reason. It's a silly reason, but the album is never at the forefront of my mind when I am trawling through second hand record shops looking for bargains, so ultimately, I always forget about it.
Also, to shock some folk here, I do not own BE - Beady Eye. The bottom line is Beady Eye just do nothing for me. I bought Flick of the Finger off itunes, I really like it, but then I heard some more tunes off the album, and it left me underwhelmed like the first album. I admit I have not heard every song off the album, but reviews suggest it's not a big step forward. I'm a big Oasis fan, have all the albums, b-sides and loved High Flying Birds, but I just don't have an urge to buy it at the moment.

Ill second Beady Eye - BE. Were excited for it for a while enjoyed Flick of the Finger but the excitment died when I heard Second Bite and Soul Love. So only listened to clips on itunes of the others and they didnt do it for me. Probably not the best forum to say this and I dont wanna get in a long debate but Liams voice doesn't grip me anymore. His just doesnt suit slow burning melodies/songs.

'Dark Side' isn't really prog, it's got more in common with the second side of 'Abbey road' really, recorded in the same room, very similar production sounding, and as opposed to prog it has songs. worth checking.
My omissions would be anything by the Velvet Underground - just never really 'got' them at all - welsh bloke, german woman, NY junkies, just a bit too contrived for me i suppose.

Thirding BE-Beady Eye
Also: Unity-Rage. It only had 2 decent songs on it for me (set this World on Fire and All I want), the rest sounded like shit. and I'm a poer metal freak. When this performance beats the original song:
....you have a problem

Radiohead's albums - Thom Yorke's voice puts me off. Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan, too. Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek and the Dominos.

The early Zep albums, well any Zep albums, and a few Stones classics though I have the big four (Beggar's Banquet, Let it Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile)
I don't own any Radiohead but that's just because I don't like them

I actually thought you'd enjoy BE just based off what I've read from you. Which tunes have you heard? Really disappointed to be honest. I was really rooting for them as well - it's not as if I was in the so called 'Noel camp' and willing them to fail. I've heard them all in clips. Pretty sure I listened to Dont Brother Me, but I can't really remember because I found it so excrutiatingly dull. I like Flick of the Finger, and I like Soul Love, and Start Anew has a charm to it but that's the only ones that stick out in my mind. When I heard all the rockers and everything else, it just sounded really really boring. I expected something different, and I didn't get it. What annoys me is Andy Bell has turned into a pathetically derivative song writer. A guy who was at the forefront of one of the most original and brilliant albums of the 1990s - Ride's Nowhere - and I have no idea how he has descended into such mediocrity, and seems to be pretty happy about it. I expected it from Liam and Gem, but Andy is a real disappointment. I won't listen to Beady Eye unless they give me something to perk my ears and make me think 'hmm, now this is unexpected'. Flick of the Finger did, but that's really about it. It's guys like myself and the others who haven't bothered to buy it that is a real problem for Beady Eye. We should be the target market but they are completely missing. Worryingly, I think Oasis could have ended up like this, if fans like myself were getting sick and tired of mediocre albums, with some great Noel tunes and the rest just average - albums such as Heathen Chemistry, Don't Believe The Truth and Dig Out Your Soul (despite some excellent tunes - Part of the Queue, Importance of Being Idle. Mucky Fingers, Stop Crying, Shock of the Lightning etc) they were not really worth £9 of my money to be brutally honest

I really like Flick of the Finger and Soul Love was really unexpected to me. I still listen to Soul Love when I'm on the train. It's a nice track and the type of things I'd expected from a Beady Eye/Sitek collaboration. Start Anew is also pretty good, but I think it's a bit overrated. And Soon Comes Tomorrow sounds pretty good, though I think it goes on for too long and plods a bit too much. And the only two tracks I liked from the bonus tracks were Off At The Next Exit and Evil Eye, though I think Evil Eye sounds a bit incomplete toward the end. The guitar bit at the end just didn't seem to fit and just seemed to be slapped on at the end because they didn't know how else to end it. The rest for me goes under the better than DGSS, but not good enough for me to continually come back to category. But back to the OP. I'd also include in my list, anything by Nirvana. I've really wanted Nirvana's MTV Unplugged on vinyl for the longest, but never have the money for it.

Releasing an album of 4 track demos after your biggest tour and first top ten single takes balls.

It's very dark, brooding, haunting. Not as 'instant' as his other major works but crawls under your skin. Love every bit of it, and Atlantic City is probably my favourite track of his, along with Racing In The Street.

I love every Verve song I've heard but I'm yet to buy one of their albums Buy Urban Hymns from the Verve. It's their best by a mile, and it's got Liam on backing vocals for the last song! But for the OP, I don't own anything by Elvis, or really any of those classic rock n' rollers. I like it when I hear it, but I don't find it has the energy it used to, and I could never listen to it casually in the car or anything.

Urban Hymns, aside from The Rolling People, is basically an Ashcroft solo album with a great backing band. If you want entirety of the band, A Storm in Heaven is where its at. That being said, I love Urban Hymns and I'm probably one of the few people to like the majority of Ashcroft's solo output (though The United Nation of Sound is absolute trash).
