What Oasis tracks could have been singles.
To be honest i think every song on DM and WTSMG could have been singles.
The one that sticks out and could have been a number ONE is She's Electric. Just catchy as hell.
Cast No Shadow, Morning Glory ( i know it was a single in other countries, i think) and Champagne Supernova could have all been strong hits.

1.R 'N R Star 2.Hello 3.I Hope I Think I Know (for all u haters..wake up! this rocks!) SOTSOG & HC picked the right singles 4. Love Like A Bomb or 5. Part Of The Queue or 6. KTDA or 7. ABWR
Tells you how much I like DBTT
Also tells you that they have almost better B Sides than non single album sides.

There's only three songs I would release over the singles the band have already chosen. Slide Away, Morning Glory and A Bell Will Ring (let's face it, it won't get released).
There's a lot of outstanding songs that never got released, but most I just can't see as singles. For me part of the charm of Champagne Supernova and Rock 'N' Roll Star is that they are album tracks - makes them seem more 'sacred'.

Gas Panic!
almost unanimously cited as the best track on sotsog. and really head and shoulders above the rest on that album (yeah and i know, glio is ear candy (in a strawberry fields sort of way), and wfl? smokes (as a mantra/prudence kind of drone)...but come on...gas panic is fucking gold.
if you think about it all of the favourite 'songs on an album' are represented as singles.
and i know that everyone has their own taste--and certainly there is someone out there who would list Put your money... or little james as the best thing on sotsog--but i'm talking general consensus.
think about it?
maybe you could argue on dm: slide away or columbia or even rock'n'roll star but really how can you argue with supersonic, c&a and live forever...
yeah and i know that gas panic! really isn't single sounding...

DM: Columbia, Slide Away MG: Cast no Shadow, Champagne Supernova (iffy though, cuz it had a video and was on the radio for pretty much all of 1996) BHR: I hope I think I Know, Be Here Now SOTSOG: Gas Panic (though another iffy one, cuz it had that live vid, but that was more a promo for Familiar to Millions), Roll It Over HC: Better Man DBTT: really hard because really, I can envision any song other than the meaning of soul as a decent single, but more than any, I think Keep the Dream Alive would have been a killer single

Without doubt 'Turn up the Sun' - and it's a the best 'opener' at their gigs - just gets the place rocking

Let me be the first to contest
I don't think any more should have been singles. Honestly, it means a lot to have all these fucknig mega tracks that were never singles.
As Andy Bell put it on the DM DVD, Slide Away is one of those songs that everyone talks about and that means a lot cos it wasn't a single
Gas Panic fits that description, as does Champagne Supernova, or Morning Glory.
