Said it before - I'd be more than happy with more official releases.
Not sure we'll get anything next year for DM? As we got the DVD in 2004 but nothing for MG in 2005.
It has to be something we havent got already, gig dvd or demos?
. . . and NOT a commentary from Noel where he's constantly referring to Liam as "him there" or "him in the sunglasses" - like the Time Flies dvd.

This latest drama with Liam will just make Noel even more glad he ain't in a band with him anymore. Noel is all about the music, puttin' on great gigs while Liam doesna seem to give a fuck anymore about the shows, he's more interested in the rock 'n' roll lifestyle it seems. Oasis should never get back together, certain things should be left in the past but I think at some point sadly they will get back. I have a feeling that most forum members who want Oasis to reform are the ones that got into the band between 2005-2009 and didn't get to see them tour that much. This is the era I know as Oasis mostly going "through the motions". Especially on tour. You have a point. I have to admit, I'm one of the people who didn't get to see Oasis tour, which is part of the reason why I'd like to see them once on stage. I heard and liked their songs since the WTSMG era, and was generally aware of their new albums. I watched their Manchester 2005 concert on DVD, and saw some stuff online. But I never got to any of their concerts. So the selfish part of me is wanting to see Oasis back together so that I can witness some of the glory, but realistically I know it's never going to be as good as it was (and knowing what I know of the decline, I'd rather not relive that part of it). But the other part of me just wants to hear some of those old tunes performed live again, with Noel and Liam. Like Noel said, it's a pity songs like Champagne Supernova won't be heard on stage anymore. If they reunite, whether it's just for a MG run, or for a longer length of time, I'm definitely there with a front-row ticket. But I'm not getting my hopes too high, and actually, I have to agree that what we're getting now from HFB and BE is pretty good, and I'm excited to see what they do next.

Noel puts on great gigs you can't deny that ffs! He sings well, in tune & generally puts on a good show. His gigs are never gonna be as energetic & mad as Oasis & Beady Eye gigs as it's a different kind of music, it's not a rock 'n' roll show you're goin' to see. If there is no Oasis reunion in 2015 (which is very likely the case) I think that the Oasis fans should have a reunion instead.

Tom Meighan, Noel, Bonehead, Guigs and Alan White. That's the dream Oasis reunion right there. Tom Meighan? From Kasabian? I wouldn't pay a penny to see that.

I saw Oasis 14 times so it's easy and a little harsh for me to say tough shit but you know, I don't want Oasis to reform. I'm very happy with Noel being a solo artist and BDI doing their thing.
Why ruin a legacy

But as a fan meet up, that would be a laugh. Where would it take place

I also saw the boys a number of times, so I'm not that desparate to see them.
But at the same time, still want to experience Oasis.
One of the best things about the gigs was the atmosphere, spine tingling at times - and that was BEFORE they came out on stage.
Could us fans organise something? Maybe?
But it's gonna be big, with enough reason for fans to attend.
I dont think Oasis would be a convention type of thing, like Star Wars etc but maybe a festival type thing?

I'll be honest and say I've never seen Oasis live, was too young to go to Manchester and watch them. But I don't want a reunion, 2014/15 seems too soon in my mind, but then again I can't see them doing a 2024/25 reunion tour either which is what I'd like them to do.

its is so frustrating watching the clips from last night of liam sounding great! why the fuck can he not sound like that more often??
I know most all singers have off days but liam has been consistanly bad for years with the odd half decent performance here and there.
last night proves he can still sing great live.
noel must be pissed off watching that- after how many times he has stood on stage next to him sounding utter shite, he shows he can actually produce the goods after all!!
if liam could sing like that all the time I would have oasis back in a heartbeat. sadly I can only see it as a rare one off great performance as he has left us burnt with so many utter shite live performances in the past.
I don't know what is up with his voice most of the time- maybe all the white stuff doesn't help??
anyway, it was nice seeing him actually sing for once rather than shouting and not finishing his lines. just gutted he couldn't have done that when he was still in oasis.

Liam's voice can't hack a whole tour. He's great at the start of tours but goes to shit half way through.
