Hopefully he's just taking a last holiday before planning his album release. I have a sinking feeling that he's not in a rush though and it'll be 2015 when the album finally drops.
It's just so hard to extrapolate from the time cycle of the last album. He was working on two albums and took time off in the middle for personal time with his family when Sonny was born and then when he married Sara. But at the same time he liked the fact that he had some time to "live with the songs" for a while after recording but before release and having no deadline to work to so maybe he's more inclined to build time like that into his schedule.

Last week there was an interview on sky sports about Man City called City Man or something like that, apparently the interviewer at the start asked him about a new album, I didn't see the interview but who did reported those words  |

Anyone reckon he might do a Bowie and drop it one night without anyone knowing? No matter what, when Noel has an album out it is a big seller and will go to number 1. For it to beat Matt Cardle, X Factor winner to number one, was quite a big deal. Doing a secret album release would be pretty massive! He mentioned how amazed he was to find out about Bowies album, so I don't think it can be ruled out!

the interview o fantasy football ended with 'good luck with the album' could mean two things though, he has finsished it or is still recording. With Damon Albarn saying Noel is finishing his album i'd go for option #1. But that seems to good to be true

Oh, tonight Roger Daltrey recieved an award for Teenage Cancer Trust and he was presented by Paul Weller cause Noel couldn't be there as he was "making history in the studio" |
