Noels silence on new album is getting frustrating. Well we didn't get any updates or anything on the first high flying birds album until July for a October release, I would expect a similar time frame for the upcoming album. |

Yeah, I think it *is* still too early. I prefer when Noel springs news on us rather than sitting around waiting for news to break.

I'll be disappointed if you don't at least get a summer single by mid July preferably. Something in the vain of SCYHO so we can all cry together like men when England are knocked out of the World Cup.

But he can make a decent attempt, like he did with AKA What A Life or If I Had A Gun. |

People were saying that for a few years before SCYHO came out. The great thing...or maybe the bad thing....is that the chance is always there. He'll always be good songwriter, but he'll also have his flashes of greatness....I think he still has a couple of flashes left. |

I really can't wait to see his new material for his next album. Hoping to be blown away, but expecting a HFB part 2. If given a better treatment I think If I had a Gun could have been better than SCYHO. I still believe its his best melody since Don't Go Away. I think there's a very good chance we'll get something great, it's just a question of whether that treatment matches the greatness. But I wouldn't be too disappointed with a HFB 2 with just a tad bit more experimentation |

Are we arguing that Stop Crying Your Heart Out is the best song Noel has written since 2002? Because The Importance of Being Idle was another stunner off the very next album.
