The first one popped in my mind is The Boy With No Name by Travis. I really don't like the album (it's too much of the same "safety Travis" for me), but 3 Times And You Lose is in my personal top five of Travis songs.

Keep Calm and Carry on by the Stereophonic's not a fan of the album at all but love Innocent the song.

Giving Up the Gun on Contra by Vampire Weekend. It's all pretty listenable but I personally think that's where it came together best. That's so true. That album was overall a disappointment for me because I was so fond of their debut, but Giving Up the Gun was the strongest on that album to be sure. Honestly, I always thought Sgt. Pepper was a very good album, but with a surprising number of weak songs when taken individually. Really only the first 3, She's leaving home, and A day in the life stand out to me.
