The Top Ten is as follows: 1. The Stone Roses 'The Stone Roses' 2. The Smiths 'The Queen Is Dead' 3. Oasis 'Definitely Maybe' 4. Sex Pistols 'Never Mind The Bollocks' 5. Arctic Monkeys 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not' 6. Blur 'Modern Life Is Rubbish' 7. Pulp 'Different Class' 8. The Clash 'London Calling' 9. The Beatles 'Revolver' 10. The Libertines 'Up The Bracket' What does everyone think? This Arctic Monkeys' thing is silly. NME always trying to stir things up. I can imagine sold older blokes wondering where their Stones, Who, Led Zeppelin, other Beatles, Bowie etc are. ....and Modern Life Is Rubbish? I had that and burned 2 songs and sold it back. Charlatans 'Some Friendly' or 'Tellin Stories' kills that Blur release.

^ it is indeed! i'll get it tomorrow! and... isn't that too much to put AM in top 5 of best albums OF ALL THE TIME, eh? have ppl there gone mad or sth? Ok, they're good, maybe they're brilliant but ... nah, it's too much... I bet it's not as good as WTSMG or Beatles' records

I think Definitely Maybe should have been number one, but I understand why The Stone Roses have the top spot. Morning Glory should have been in the top 10, simply because of what that album did for/to British culture and what it meant and still means to people.

The album stone roses taking out top spot is fair enough. That album is just amazing but Arctic Monkeys definately does not belong there
it could be in top 10 albums of the year. Just maybe. but of all time? you gotta be kidding me compared to everything else on that list, its out of place if you ask me

yeah NME just keep on showing how ignorant they are. I don't think AM deserve to be in the top 100 of all time. it's a good album and all but every single album at least on that top 10 meant a lot to Englich culture. they kind of encapsulated the feeling of the time. I can't see how WTSMG is 92.... I can't see how no Led Zeppelin, or Rolling Stones, or the Who make the top 10.... it's sad to see how ignorant they are
