I think Live forever is the best,there's nothing as brillant and simple as it,The Masterplan,TIOBI,Don't look back in anger,Slide away,Supersonic,Stand by me,Listen up,Wonderwall of course are all great
I personally love Some might say's melody,we know that Noel is a master of melodies,wich are your favourites?

Underneath the sky verse is fucking awesome.
Magic Pie riff in 2:27 is one of the best moments.

Cast No Shadow
Morning Glory
Good shout for the verse on Underneath the Sky, a little like how Hey Now goes - just a nice kinda dreamy float of a melody.
Also ( the huge mistake by Noel of leaving this of an album)
Who Put the Weight of the World on My Shoulders!

Every melody on wonderwall is pure genius, same goes for live forever.
And so many more, slide away, supersonic, mg, gas panic, underneath the sky.
It is really the main thing in Noel songwrtting, is a genius for melody.

An old thread but eh, didn't think it was necessary to open a new one.
Listen Up has got a gorgeous melody, especially the verses. Live Forever and Whatever, obviously. Champagne Supernova has the same godlike level melodic than Lennon in 66/67, imo. Supersonic got an amazing melody. Slide Away, too.
To be fair, Noel was one of the best melodist of all the time, during the 90's.

Don't Look Back in Anger and Wonderwall are two that sprang to mind pretty quickly when I saw this.
To commend Gem, I always liked the groove on To Be Where There's Life and the lively and energetic melody on Hung in a Bad Place. Both of those songs are pretty high points for Oasis MkII as well.
