Oasis / 33 shows Noel / 4 shows Beady Eye / 4 shows Any thoughts on when(if) BDI are coming stateside? I am lookin FWD to hearing the new songs live and of course RnR Star and MG. I am hoping for at least a NYC gig in December this year. If not at least a small tour early 2014.

Honestly , I hope so , but don't think so ....maybe NYC and Boston , Philly a east coast small theatre venue , but they may want to concentrate on the UK and Europe .. Just a guess , I think they will get to the states , NYC certainly , and ill fly up but may be awhile .hope I'm wrong obviously

I'm sure they'll do a NYC show, at the very least. If they come back to Boston they'll have to downsize the venue, I've rarely seen the shit hole they played that empty.

Dec and/or Jan is what I have heard through friends in the know. Hinted at NYC, Philly, Chicago, LA but not much other than that.

Ah, true. I'd love for them to play the Paradise, but I doubt it after such a weak showing. Its odd, normally British do very well in Boston, but even Noel failed to sell out the theatre he played (granted, ticket prices were very high).

I thought the UK dates being released for November was an indication they might be in the US in Sept/Oct. As someone posted above, if insider info has them coming early next year, I'd go with that.
Disappointed if they wouldn't get here within six months of the album release. But, as someone mentioned too with the example of Kasabian, I'll wait until 2014...so long as they come to at least NYC. Philly or DC would be much obliged, but I was at the 930 Club show at the end of the DGSS tour. I thought it was okay, but apparently that was near the joyless end of that tour. The room wasn't packed, but it wasn't dead either. Oh well...GET HERE BOYS!!

Where were you sitting for that? I was up front at the balcony, kind of empty around me, but they were really up for all of the Oasis stuff! Don't Look Back In Anger was a highlight after only seeing the acoustic version Noel did on the DOYS tour.

Huh, wow I totally forgot about that guy until now! Whenever I think of the Wang I always think about Morrissey last year when tons of people ran on stage, pretty mental for a theatre gig!

Saw BDI last tour at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. Venue holds about a thousand. Asked about ticket sales; they said they had 5 tickets left before the gig started. Good audience, loved the lads long time.

Probably while I was standing in line, freezing my ass off to get front row...

So conception would have been February or March 2012 at the earliest. Way after the tour ended. Not saying Liam wasn't engaged in a good college try though. Apparently he first met the mother of the child in early 2010.

Webster Hall was only sold out because they were new. I didnt go to the Terminal 5 gig, but friends that went said the upper tiers were basically empty. That Webster Hall gig was dreadful though.

Love the intimate feel (500 people). Great bar downstairs. I'd love to see them perform there.

About 30 minutes before Beady Eye went on. On my way in I had two friends who needed to "scalp" tickets. Much to our surprise, people working for Beady Eye were handing out FREE tickets. We asked why, they said the band wanted a sell out show. It didn't happen but it was nice for my friends to get in for free. Crazy.

Nah , not saying that , jus there's no buzz , and don't think a full scale us tour is in works ( hope I'm wrong ) but the kids here have no clue and outside of south Florida coco beach and Daytona is the " hippest " and actually wY more rock and roll than south beach , and 99 % have no clue , so can't see it that's all ......yea Philly woulda been a safer bet for a gig ...but the weather here blows it away Edit : listen I hope I'm wrong , there's the hard rock in Tampa , and if they do tour the east ,they may want to take in the Florida sun who knows ? Gret thing being in I- 4 corridor like you and I , is that if they come it would durely only be , Tampa or Orlando where the rock fanbsse is , and it's a easy trip .. But even if its Miami ( which I doubt ) only 3 hrs tops down 95 , so here's to hoping I'm wrong

That was one of the good things about living near Philly is that I could count on the Gallaghers swinging by on a tour. Not so much in FL. They don't seem to tour this far south, only vacation here. Or their soon to be ex's rather.

My. Nephew was at the gym today , was with his friends not a one ever heard BDI ...they're 22 , and like rock ...sad
