Ok, I know that the Gallaghers can neither drive, nor swim. Which is very bizarre. I mean, Noel used to be a roadie with the Carpets, he should've learned to drive. Liam can't drive for sure. I think that no one with sound judgement would give his cocaine-fueled head a car.

But, what about other members? Does Andy or Gem have any such problems? Can they drive or swim? White as a drummer can probably drive perfectly - probably to his balanced body in the hands and legs. Anyway, more of the drummers that I know personally are excellent drivers. Bonehead, Guigsy and Zak - no fucking idea, but I suspect that Zak can at least drive.

I mean even I - 1,90 m and 70 kg - can drive fairly well and swim not that bad. But in recent time I found that with everything I practise a lot, I become better in it. No matter it's driving, swimming, drumming, reading or sex (seriously).

Try not. Do it, or do not. There is no try.

A lot of the big rock stars couldn't drive, including Lennon and Hendrix. I don't see the point, really. Besides being rich enough to take a cab to buy a pint of milk and not living in the same zip code as sobriety, you don't have that much free time to begin with. Even when they're not on tour I'm sure there's not that many errands they'd have to take solo.

Noel's gig as a roadie was short lived, I don't think he would've had time to complete a driving course anyway.

And I think there's a story in Paul Gallagher's book about Liam as a kid almost dying when he fell in a river. Make of that what you will.
