Rock n roll star > Hello Shaker maker < Roll with it Live forever > Wonderwall Up in the sky < DLBIA Columbia > Hey now supersonic > swamp song 1 (add 2 as well to even up track list) bring it on down < some might say cigarettes and alcohol > cast no shadow digsys dinner < shes electric Slide away > morning glory married with children < champagne supernova sad song > boneheads bank holiday I make that 7-5, suppose its could be 6-6 then just comes down to personal taste, and for me DM takes it. Moron You actually agree with me though you fucking idiot. I arrived at the correct answer did i not?

DM by far. Besides the top singles (Wonderwall, Don't look back In Anger, Champagne Supernova) WTSMG has some tracks that are average in Oasis' standard (She's electric, Hey Now). Plus I thought the two instrumentals were unneccessary. It's a good album, but I prefer DM and probably Be Here Now.

I've always assumed a real Oasis fan would always say DM, thats what they were all about, thats their peak right there. WTSMG is great as well, has some really good songs but as an album it doesn't compare with DM. Seeing the result of the poll makes me scratch my head to be honest, can only assume we have a lot of casual fans on this forum who just dont get it. Like the OP for instance, who seems to think Wonderwall and CS are the pinicle of the Oasis catelog. Good songs like but the raw energy of tracks like Live Forever, Slide Away and Supersonic are just superior in every way. The casual music fan will tell you Oasis are all about Wonderwall, DLBIA and CS. The real Oasis fan will always point to DM as their best work. Just my opinion of course. DM FTW

Definitely Maybe by quite a way for me,
Morning Glory obviously builds on DM but has far more filler, I don't like Roll With It, Hey Now or She's Electric which only leaves 7 songs (albeit fantastic songs)
If I was doing an Oasis best of, both albums would probabvly be equally represented but from start to finish DM is far superior for me as I can't listen to MG all the way through due to the aforementioned songs,
In fact I prefer SOTSOG to MG; and thats not me trying to be controversial I just do

Well, I don't consider myself to be a casual fan just because I voted for WTSMG I get what DM is about and I think it's a great record, great attitude and all that But I think WTSMG is musically perfect, at least for me

DM, most of the time.
However, I do believe that Noel's best songwriting is on WTSMG.
The spirit of DM and Liam's voice really does it for me.

DM FTW Sorry but i disagree completely..im not a casual fan and I consider WTSMG to be their best album and one of the best albums ever released. DM is of course a good album as well, almost all the tracks are great but imo Liam sounds much better on MG and it sounds more mature

Definitely Maybe by about a bazillion facking miles!
Morning Glory is good but It's more 'pop' and less rock and roll. "Some Might Say", "Hello", "Morning Glory" and "Hey Now" are fantastic....but i find myself forwarding through the rest of the album. BE HERE NOW even kicks Morning Glory's arse all over the parking lot and football fields.....i don't think Morning Glory can even compare to DM.
Definitely Maybe? the greatest album ever IMO. No comparison here. I was there at the gigs in 1994. That spirit was changed in 1995.....there was nothing like the Oasis of 1994....and the 'soft' version of Oasis as witnessed on Morning Glory is evidence of that.

Can't really say to be honest. WTSMG has been my favorite album of all time for years now with DM right behind it but over the past 3 years the margin between them has become non existent.
DM is what Oasis is all about in terms of attitude, rock n' roll, etc. If you want to listen to an album where the people who made it shine through then DM is your choice, because it is a bit more relatable to the everyday person, but WTSMG has more developed/varied songwriting and emotional depth that DM doesn't have. The songs on WTSMG might have been played to death by either you or the public, but that doesn't change the fact that they are fucking outstanding songs. Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova, Don't Look Back in Anger, I can tell you any songwriter wants to have songs like those. Huge songs sung by thousands.
Its a coin flip. Really just depends on my mood. It might be a weak answer but when you are comparing two of the best albums ever made there really isn't a right/wrong answer.

DM is the only perfect ALBUM that Oasis made, 10/10 album. WTSMG is like greatest hits. DM is like hole experience, album worth listening from start to the end. You dont get with MG. Yes, songs are amazing but you dont get that album experience, I barely listen MG from start to the end. And there is no reason. If i want to listen best songs of Oasis then i make playlist with lot of songs from MG, not all, but also with songs from other albums. Also DM for me is best drinking beer , smoking cigarettes album. I listen alone that album before going to the party, drink few beers, smoke some cigarettes and im mad fer it. And why cant i vote her?

Definitely Maybe is the greatest rock debut of all time.
But Morning Glory is the best rock/pop album ever made.
So I'm going Morning Glory.

Definitely Maybe or Morning Glory? Beats me, I'll never figure this one out. Believe me, I've tried for a good 14 years now and I'm none the wiser.
