How long do you think Oasis will last?

I hope they can go another 10 years, produce atleast 4 more albums....

that in itself is depressing, to know that Oasis are now coming towards the end of their career

Noel soon will be 40....i really doubt he will want to continue when he reaches 50....we DONT want Oasis to become the next rolling stones, granted their like 70 now lol, but you get my point....

I don't know about splitting the band but taking a long break after the next album and doing something of a lower profile solo career for a few years wouldn't be a bad idea for Noel or Liam. I think they both have changes in them that the band could be hindering and going their own way for a while and then bringing back the band for a final swing or two might be the healthiest idea.

I never look to the future with this band - live for the moment.

But maybe 2 more albums with the joint songwriting, then a solo career from Noel with a world tour. I know there must be stacks of acoustic stuff Noel's hoarding for this reason.

Or Noel could leave & the rest carry on....?

would be nice if they can carve out atleast 4 more...i would take 1 amazing one and 3 medicore ones...Oasis can last another 10 years....i think once Noel hits 50, it will def be over....i may be an age-ist or whatever, but we dont want another RS do we? or something like U2 who is waaaay past their best?
