Disappointed that they didnt perform with Springsteen again. They were both in Australia at the same time and I thought they might hook up again. I would have loved a better recorded version of them doing Keep The Car Running .
Just came across this and damn it's awful

Finally giving this album a listen. I skimmed over it when I downloaded it a couple months ago. But it's now time for a poper listen.
Only 2 tracks in - Reflektor has it's moments, but it is self indulgent. On the other hand, I do like We Exist, and the bass line starting at 3:30 is so powerful, and eventually the guitar over it. Wow. (I was just about to write that the song is too long, but I don't think that now, the last 3rd of the song is so worth the length).
Probably won't listen to the whole album tonight, but I'm inclined to keep going with it atm. I do love the sound that they have developed so far on the album.
Encouraged (even though the critical claim, while still fantastic, clearly depicts it as AF's worst album).

And still no Florida dates great weather in Florida; not many great bands play in Florida often. God bless.

That's what, 4 months since the album was released? Though it's not quite as exciting now as it was on the first few listens, I still think it's a great album. The title track is probably the highlight for me.
Saw them at one of the smaller Reflektor gigs last year a couple of weeks after the album came out and the new songs were brilliant live, as were they. Wake Up is probably the best closing song I've heard live, worked much better at the end than when they played it half-way through set when I saw them in 2011. Can't wait to see them again at Glastonbury this summer!

If the rest are 9s and a 10, Neon Bible is an 8. This is an elite band at its peak.

It easily their third best album after Funeral and The Suburbs. Remove Flashbulb Eyes and the first Here Comes The Night Time and it might me their most consistent album from start to finish.

It's an extremely strong album. It contains one dud track (Flashbulb Eyes). I like Here Comes The Night Time but I think it sounds better live than it does on record. I'd still have liked if they just ended Supersymmetry after the 6 minute mark. No need to have 5 minutes of utter nonsense playing to close out the album. Afterlife is such a perfect pop song. It could have been a massive hit for New Order in the 80s.

Very interesting you can hear faint vocals on that song (Dimensions) featured in this video. Win recently said they aren't sure if they are going to officially release this soundtrack because it contains tracks they might use on future albums. This song with vocals sounds like The Cure. Fuck Yeah!
