i have a question: so i bought a physical copy of the album today...recently my desktop computer died, which had my iTunes and all my uploaded songs on it.

i downloaded iTunes to my new comp/laptop but i can't upload albums/songs to my Apple Touch....

is there a way i can do this or do i need to get a new MP3 player, a new iTunes account or what?

FYI, i'm not that familiar with computers..... i have no real interest in the tech side of computers/internet. i basically come to this forum, follow links from Facebook that tickle my fancy and check out whatever else i might be interested at the time.

this album kinda confirms to me that Arcade Fire is one of the most important rock n' roll bands, but they aren't the best rock n' roll band in the world.

Love the ambition on this album, but some of the songs are lacking. Steven Hyden did an excellent review that brings up some of the emotions I feel towards this album. It's not a bad as Neon Bible (an album where I probably only listen to 3-4 tracks), but it rarely reaches the highs of their other two albums. I've spent it around 7 times so there is still some digesting to do but this album probably isn't gonna be in my top 5 for best records of the year.

Due to being a poor student at the moment, I've yet to get the album, but given my birthday is soon I will definitely treat myself.

Arcade Fire are a good band, and I'ma let you continue listening to them, but Los Campesinos has the BEST ALBUM OF ALL TIME!!!

I think I can give the album a fair assessment after a week worth of spins.  This is AF's BHN album, a collection of some of their best songs but some of the tracks go on far too long.  Reflektor starts off the album with a fury and may contain the best singing by Regine on any album but after about 5 minutes in I'm ready for it it end.  Just a little too repetitive.  We Exist and Afterlife are the two highlights of the album for me.  Can listen to those two on repeat all day.  Joan of Arc and It's Never Over(Oh Orpheus) are easily the next best two songs on the album.  Kinda wish It's Never Over was just Regine's song though.  The first half of the song where its only her is stronger than where Win takes the song over.  Didn't think You Already Know was a very good song on the first few listens but caught myself singing the chorus when I was cleaning the other day.  The only real miss on the album for me is Flashbulb Eyes.  The only redeeming thing about the song is that its the shortest on the album.  Thought Here Comes The Night Time II was just a throw away reprise on the first few listens but now I actually prefer it to the disc 1 version.  The string arrangement is a little Beatleesque and I love when that bass kicks in.  Right now it's a solid B+ maybe A- for me.  Not as good as Funeral or The Suburbs but better than Neon Bible.
