It was understandably left off SOTSOG (after Blur released a tune too similar to Noels idea for it) but why have we not seen this classic emerge on either HC or DBTT, or at least on their B-sides. Maybe Noels learnt his lesson about chucking away good tunes, and he’s saving it for a future classic. Possibly the next album do you think??

I think it's an ok song but it lacks something to be released, it doesn't have enough power, if it's worked upon it could be a good song though.

Tender. From www.mrmonobrow.dsl.pipex.com/monobrow/giants.htm"We did have one track which didn't go on called 'Revolution Song'. It was demoed two years ago and it's an out-an'-out gospel song, but not in the sense that 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' by U2 is a gospel song. I think it's a really, really good song. We were going to have the full-on gospel choir singing it until fucking Blur put out 'Tender' and then we went, 'fucking bastards!'. That'll have to wait for the next one. They always nick our ideas!"

Thanks. This probably sounds weird, but I remember watching a video of The Lost World - Jurassic Park with the sound off while I was playing Revolution Song, and right when the solo came in the T Rex knocked over the Union 76 gas station ball. Somehow, it just looked so cool to me, like it was meant to be seen that way. The "terrible lizard," singing out his revolution song like nothing else mattered. I wasn't high on anything, I swear.

its good, but not a clasic. if produced it would be good, but not even single worthy...it would be a weak one, like how LTBT is weak, you get that feeling its missing something...or was never meant to be a great one
