outstanding performance all round - amusing as it was to see liam reading the whole show lol. not a bad performance in it if you ask me. hats off to liam for getting over the dislike of doing acoustic shows - hopefully this means he'll do more!
idea: how about no one responds to those trying to ruin things with unhelpful, negative comments?? maybe thatl get rid if them more quickly than engaging?
thanksagain to those who uploaded - anyone knows of a link to an avi of the show let me know!

I'm really, really impressed with what I've heard - Flick of the Finger is excellent, so is I'm Just Saying (I haven't listened to the album version yet, so I can't compare). Great overall sound, too.

What really amazes me about watching this is that two acoustic guitars, a bass player, drums, keyboards/synth and Liam cannot equal a solo Noel performance. Noel pretty much promoted his last album by himself with just his voice and guitar. Don't see how this performance by Beady Eye is any better than what Noel did tbh. Not taking anything away from Beady Eye though, it's a decent performance. Why do you need to compare it to Noel? Exactly ! Noel has a better voice than Liam, hes more consistent when i've seen him in concert or doing acoustic gigs. But at the end of the day Liam has a more 'rock n roll' voice in my view, has a lot more character and you cant really compare the two of them. Thats what made Oasis so great, you had Liam with his 'rockers' and then Noel would come on and do his slower stuff at gigs, worked well. People have to get over it one day. Its like going on about Liams voice, yes sadly its not as good as it was back in 1995 but are you surprised ? People have to move on, nearly 20 years after Oasis first started we still have quality albums from Noel and Liam and thats great. Instead a lot of people are turning into a bunch of (I presume) Take That fans analysing every single minute detail or thinking its 'great' to just slate a song for the sake of it just to wind up other fans. Embarassing. If you didnt like it move on, theres some songs i dont like, i dont bother posting 'this songs crap' and press Post. Whats the point ? Erm dude, I'm confused-- why did you use the second exclamation point? It's like I don't really know if you're being sincere or not. Please do clarify. What the hell ? I often put 'this songs great!!!!', I didnt realise there was an exclamation point police going around, ridiculous. It might upset you but just ignore anyone who uses two or three exclaimation points to show they're excited.

Thanks to all the uploaders- an excellent gig. Liam's future might be best spent performing mostly acoustic shows; his voice is far more emotive, clean and better controlled when he's not shouting over numerous amplifiers and speaker stacks. The acoustic element added a new dimension to a lot of the songs and I liked the use of the synthesiser; demonstrating the revised style and mood well. I kinda wish their were more songs in the style of FOTF, SL, SAL and SBOTA as they show a willingness to think outside the square. This setting seemed to enhance a lot of the songs although I would have liked to hear Andy and Gem on backing vocals during SAL. How cool is Sharrock? Playing his drums like bongos! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Very weak and awful vocals. Liam has really lost his voice. Sad. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) Only I'm Just Saying sounds alright. It's obvious that people on this forum has such low expectations that as long as Liam doesn't sound like Kermit, it's a "fantastic performance." Come on... This is dreadful.

Are you sure you heard all the performance and your ears aren't clogged with earwax? Are you sure that you are not so brainwashed by Oasis and so completely used to Liam's awful vocals that you think he is still a great singer even though most normal people think he sings like shit? Just compare his voice here to his vocals on the acoustic Up In the Sky from the evening session in 1993. It's on youtube. People on Twitter thought Liam's performance on Jools was awful. People on this forum thought it was great. That says it all. People on this forum liked his performance on the Olympics. People outside this forum thought it was utter shite. Just awful vocals. You are all so used to his awful voice that you cannot tell how bad it really is. I played the Absolute Radio performance to my friends and family and they all thought Liam sounded like drunk cat. Sad.

Sad. For me, Liam sounds good. At high sound he gets tired, but overall is ok. Especially for the acoustic slow songs. He still has that rock n 'roll in his voice. BUT Jools was weak, agree. For example he was out of tune in the beginning of Flick of The Finger. and Olypmpics Wonderwall was fucking joke, I could sing it better.
