Greetings to you all. I'm a huge Oasis fan, been to see lots of their gigs, my first in 97 during BHN, and my favourite gig in Las Vegas during SOTSOG. For the record, my Oasis album ranking is as follows - 1) Be Here Now - undisputed, heavy rock classic, aggressive, loud, over confident and full of swagger. 2) What's the Story - The Greatest Hits era. The album which defined a decade. 3) The Masterplan - so many great songs pissed away as B sides finally get the recognition they long deserved. 4) Heathen Chemistry - controversial with this one, especially as I rank it higher than Definitely Maybe. I doubt many will agree with me here, but I think it has many outstanding tracks, as good as anything from WTS. 5) Definitely Maybe - Overrated now, but rightly rated high on its release. The album is let down by its poor sound recording quality in places. Noel's backing vocals are completely lost on songs like Slide Away, and I think Shakermaker is shite, along with quite a few other songs on the album. Rock N Roll Star, Live Forever, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Slide Away and Supersonic are the best tracks on the album, but none of these songs beat the best songs on WTS or BHN. Had Whatever, Fade Away, Half the World Away and Listen Up made it to the album, I may have had a different opinion. 6) SOTSOG - great opening, then the rest is garbage, except Sunday Morning Call. Gas Panic is just average, and is overrated IMO. 7) DBTT - not overly keen on this one. No real stand out tracks for me, but as a whole the album is still better than DOYS. 8) DOYS - utter shite, with the 3 singles released being the only decent things on the album. A horrible way to end the Oasis career. Read more: live4ever.proboards.com/thread/62492/true-thoughts-on-doys?page=3#ixzz2ULa74heY

"Rock N Roll Star, Live Forever, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Slide Away and Supersonic are the best tracks on the album, but none of these songs beat the best songs on WTS or BHN"
This is totally the opposite to how i feel, those are some of Oasis very best songs ever, esp Live Forever and Slide Away, which always feature towards the top of many fans favourite tracks.
Unbelievable Jeff!!
