I actually don't like this song. This and (I Got) The Fever - on the B-side of Stand By Me - was where the faultless, stellar run of Oasis B-sides came to an end, and they became more of a rarity and less of a rule. Totally overblown, overlong sludge. A good thing that Going Nowhere came after it to restore a bit of calm.

I like it but it doesn't seem to be popular, and I can see what lisamoorish is saying about it being overblown. I don't listen to the Chilis that much so I dunno about the vocals. There was criticism about one of DBTT's tracks stealing from it, Lyla I think.
And yes you have to share official stuff through PM.

I like it. but it wasn't an end to all the b-sides. Just take a look on SOTSOG. LAMB and CUA are great songs.

I like it. but it wasn't an end to all the b-sides. Just take a look on SOTSOG. LAMB and CUA are great songs. I didn't say it was an end to all of them; however it was the end to the period where nearly EVERY Oasis B-side was a fantastic, A-side worthy song. Whatever, Roll With It, Some Might Say, Wonderwall, DLBIA, etc - all these singles had uniformly awesome B-sides. But after (I Got) The Fever and My Sister Lover, things started to slide so that the genius B-sides - like LAMB - were more of an exception and less of a rule, to the point where we now get shitty, pointless filler B-sides like The Quiet Ones.

to the point where we now get shitty, pointless filler B-sides like The Quiet Ones. Very true. I think is one of the worst oasis songs ever.

(i got) the fever is my favorite BHN song because the BHN production suits the song.
but I agree that nowadays most songs on the b-sides are fillers. but I think that is what Noel wants, he recently said it in a Dutch interview. The guy was asking why he put out incredible songs like The Masterplan and Acquiesce as b-sides and not saved them for a third album. He replied that he was just young and stupid for doing it.
Noel knows very well what we fans like and dislike, he is more aware of what is shit and what is quality.
I think that says it all, just don't expect quality b-sides in the near future.
