Hey thought I would share this I pmed most of my old friends Let It Bleed and others here know I have a few not the hundreds as I keep my friend list to people I actually talk with and family ,anyway all my friends are rockers both the men and woman and old school I ain't as young as you guys Just about all listened and loved the voice and the acoustic session these cats are not forum people or die hard oasis and they really liked the vocal and said they want more , so that is positive Now the negative just about every one had no clue who bdi was or that they were coming out with new lp  which means I doubt the sales will be pulse pounding as these are people who buy not download or rip discs so that sux but from a unbiased listen I'd say all liked the voice and the acoustic and that's more than 70 people so not a bad sample . Just thought I'd share that , it's good it's liked , not so good that they don't even know bdi exists , but I ain't done with them  |

More than 70 people; that must have took a while! But it's necessary for those unbiased opinions to be heard here every once in a while, the majority of opinions here fall to either slightly slanted for BDI or slightly more slanted against them. So thanks kalas Were there any opinions on the songs bar the praises about the vocals? |

Thanks , it's not that hard we formed a group so if you post more than 1 sees , nobody commented about the songs a few of my buddies like what we call " the tunes man " And a freind of mine Tammy who was so into oasis was just happy Liam is back she didn't even know they had a first lp I told her it was ok not oasis she did not care she will buy it ..we are not the download generation we still support thru buying , nothing against what you guys do , but its what we are used to. She was very excited , You don't know me but trust me tats only a start for me ... I hounded radio stations in NYC I got no problem hounding my friends , I know it ain't oasis and I know some hate it , hell I am not a huge fan I want my OASIS. BACK FUCK ALL THIS. But til then if my friends don't know Liam and Noel are still in game THEY WILL  . Good or bad at least they listen and respect my opinion enough to give it a chance Bruno will tell you as will others I am not crazy about first lp and don't know how ill feel about this but as I did with OASIS. I Will always support anything Gallagher to the extreme , it's what I do In music so they will hear it |

kalas I hear what you're saying about Oasis and wanting them to get back together but but for me personally I prefer it this way. I would love a reunion concert and tour but when it comes to making albums I like it the way it is as Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. For me I love hearing the stuff Liam, Andy, Gem and Chris come out with whether it's good or alright. Noel's music has also been the best it's been since the SOTSOG's era. I love the HFB album as much as any Oasis record. The split has been a sort of a rebirth of their careers IMO. I doubt if Liam would've improved his singing so much since 2009 had Oasis stuck together. Noel's recent batch of songs have also been excellent. Liam, Andy and Gem now get to do what they want and so does Noel, no boundaries and that is why the latest batch of Gallagher music has been so good. So for me personally as far as albums go, I really like it the way it is but a reunion would still fucking blow my mind!

Z Hey man your entitled to your opinion and I am glad you feel that way cause I know the deal with a reunion ( not likely ) so this will do ...maybe if you were a bit older and really lived through it good and bad you would feel different ....then again maybe not ? Shame none of them know Beady Eye have an album out in a few weeks. So far there's been the interview on Zane Lowe (an evening show, not primetime) and the recent interview on French radio. What the fuck is this about? Is that really the sort of publicity their joke of a marketing team thinks is sufficient? Oasis always have had shocking PR teams but this current one seems to not give a flying fuck. Not seen any promotion. Not even a music video. They'll be lucky to shift 20 000 in the first week at this rate

this is just a theory but normally albums that are expected to do well are promoted well as well......it's quite possible BE isn't projected to sell well so their management isn't pushing hard......or since DGSS didn't do so well they might not be putting too much effort in to promoting this album, or they'll wait and see what happens then amp up the promotion.....
think about it.

Oasis is not going to get back together. Noel now has a successful solo career on HIS own TERMS. Knowing the control freak that he is, why give that up? Why deal with Liam again professionally? I think Noel is at ease and happy. Personally I'm ok if they never get back together. I saw the band 11 times in the good and bad times. I've seen it all. Now I'm immensely enjoying Noel's solo career and what Beady Eye have in store for us.
